It's a new month! Feel free to set goals if you want to or just keep track of your November scrapping accomplishments in this thread. It's definitely encouraging and inspiring to hear what other scrappers are getting done. This month I hope to COMPLETE ALL 12 of my 2015 monthly review layouts. All caps means even I think that's a crazy goal. I'd love to be able to get started on my Disney album and I want those review layouts done first. I'd love to finish my Disney album before we go again in April. I'm in the planning stage right now and it's not the fun part so I'm dragging my feet on it. I'm working on sorting pictures into categories and then layouts right now. Then I'll move on to editing which is another not fun part. I need a good podcast to keep me going. Not necessarily scrap related. Any suggestions?

Thanks for setting this up, Elsabelle . I am working on Christmas cards, and my 30 days of thankful album. As for goals, I NEED to do October and November pages plus a cover page for the family calendar so I can get it off to the printers by early December. (I give these as gifts to each of my kids' families, and am flying to see the one family out of province on December 13th, so need the calendars finished and printed by then). I also have a travel journal to finish before the memories fade, and a book I want to do for one of my dgk's, who sent his toy donkey with me on vacation. Want that one done by Christmas, but with the speed December tends to disappear I should probably get at that too this month. Not quite back into the groove yet, but hoping my mojo is somewhere I can find it when I really need it...

You both have excellent goals!
I'm looking forward to working on my 30 days of thankful, also. I completed my title page and day one. I'm still not sure if I love the colors, but I think I'll like them more after I sew and add bling in a little while.
My albums for my sister, her three kids and my mom continues. I completed one page yesterday. I had more laid out, but switched gears and made the thankful kit. It would be really nice if I could go into December with the albums close to complete.
I would also like to order more pictures. I recently finished ordering DD19's first year of college pictures. Now I'd like to begin ordering this year. We are going to do 8x8 with both divided page protectors and full pages. Last year she took almost 1800 pictures. This year she's only up to 228, so far. She puts all the pictures in a cloud, so they are easily ordered from my phone. I use the project life app to put multiples on each 4x6 or 5x7. She has this really great squad/fam/group of friends so I'm excited to work on these albums for her.
I think that will keep me busy!

I really need this thread right now! I scrapped for the first time in months yesterday, getting 3 pages done and putting a little bit of a dent into my June Gossamer Blue kit. I'm bound and determined to carve out some time for me during the week since I'm always doing for my SO and kiddos. So, my immediate goal is to accomplish 3 more layouts by Wednesday evening. I can't think any more ahead than that

Today I opened and used Thickers for the first time. Gosh, I'm in love! I used them for a birthday layout title. I'm almost finished that layout. Well, might be finished, but not sure yet. I have two other almost finished layouts on the shelf. Need to finish those too. I have lots of older photos waiting to be scrapbooked, and I just placed an order for October 2016 photos. Time. I need more time, more than anything else.

My goal for November is to do ONE page a day. I am usually quite the prolific scrapper but I have had no MOJO of late. So if I can just get back into a routine of ONE a day, maybe by the first of the year I can get back into the saddle and get some things accomplished.

Then I started getting them in mystery kits at Studio Calico and on clearance at Big Lots and realized how they can really make a layout fabulous! I don't use them on every layout, but I now LOVE them. Try the cursive words...Dear Lizzy, Amy Tan...I'm not sure, but WOW those are awesome! Hopefully you have a Tuesday Morning because at $2 each pack of Thickers...

Hopefully you have a Tuesday Morning because at $2 each pack of Thickers... There's a TM about a half hour's drive from me. Can't do it too often, because of gas expense and time suck (and there are no other stores that I need to go in that direction), but maybe I will call the store and ask if they have any in before checking. I should really be on a freeze with Christmas this close, but......

I scrapped 2 2-pg (8x8) layouts today.
Goals for November?
-finish my mum's album before I fly out on Friday (and my flight is at 6am from an airport about 90 min. from here...so no scrapping will be happening on Friday)
Then? Catch up on ordering photos for 2016 and make some progress on the 2016 album - I made it through mid-June before fizzling out....

I would like to complete my Disney 60th album. I just started prepping it last weekend. I had to be sure it wasn't going to morph into the gargantua that our 2013 visit did! That ended up being 2 stuffed full albums. This will be exactly 28 pages so hopefully I can finish that this month. Or at least come close.

I would just love to find the time to get 1000+ pics off my phone & printed & into the 3 albums I'm working on lol. I use the collect app on my phone & it's taking forever to catch up! Some pics are from last Christmas! 🙄

I started out organizing chronologically and then decided to organize by land. That is a really good idea. I have incomplete albums from our last trip (2014...oh so sad) that are in chronological order. I have all the pictures printed, but I stopped working on the albums last year when I started the albums for my husbands family and haven't gone back to them. My sister and nephew stayed home, but her DH and two teenage daughters joined us for a few of the days. So not only do I have albums for me and my two girls, but my sister and her two girls to do, also. My sister doesn't scrapbook, barely takes any pictures and doesn't print out any. They have many scrapbooks and they really appreciate them. Her girls text me pictures and I love it! My sister (and her family) took care of me and my family through a very hard time in my life in 2013 when I could barely take care of myself. I am so very thankful for her and her family. She will definitely be in my 30 days of thankful. So many huge projects, so little time! But I adore having a long list of projects to work on!

Elsabelle My last Disney album is not chronological but more by event or theme I guess. For instance, I have an "around the park" section for different misc shots around the park, then things like "characters", "shows", "fireworks" and of course my birthday character breakfast! Disney & DCA are separate as well. Then there was also SeaWorld and Universal. That thing got stupid big! But it was a great trip - just me and DD (20 at the time) so I love having it all. When the two of us went again in 2015 I had basically just finished the 2013 album and swore I would not be doing that again. This album is almost exclusively 60th themed photos. Things that were different or special for the 60th celebration because that is what we went for. We spent almost half a day staking our spot in front of the castle to view the fireworks and projections! The album will be simple and not over embellished especially since what I have doesn't really match the 60th colours! I will look to pick up a few goodies but mostly I will make what I have in my stash work.

Today I made a 30 days of thankful 6x6 layout about DH. I spent a lot of time in the project life app putting 2-4 pictures on one 4x6 or 5x7. DH found a $20 credit for Shutterfly on My Coke Rewards. I love the $10 and $20 credits that are constantly out there. With a $20 credit I order 21 5x7's (for $3.54) that I've put multiple pictures on, except the gorgeous picture of my DS29 that was from a photo shoot he did. I ordered three 5x7's of that...lol. www.brandonwaldrop.com/He is Anthony 2016 at the very top. I don't really share photos, but he shared this online...who am I kidding...he shares EVERYTHING online! I order 4x6's free with Shutterfly, penny prints with snapfish or at Costco. So I also ordered the 101 free prints (101TREATS) that ends tonight. That was a real time suck, but now I have ordered all of DD19's pictures from this school year...yay!

I worked on my monthly review layouts today. I got paper and embellishments done for Feb-May. I love them so far! They're helping me to understand the appeal of Project Life. I don't have any interest in switching to PL but I am enjoying seeing a broader view of our life in these review layouts. iheartpaper , it's very sweet of you to make scrapbooks for your sister and her family. They're a labor of love but it's obvious that you have a great family and they're worth it. nitad , we found our spot in front of the castle for fireworks quite early too. It was so worth it. When it snowed during the Frozen part I was amazed. I'm so looking forward to going back. I really want to scrap the pictures from this year first because I know if I don't I'll be overwhelmed. I don't think I'll take as many pictures on our second trip but I definitely don't want to add a new element of picture organizing to the mix.

Elsabelle - thank you - I hope she likes it (she can be hard to gift yet gifts are her love language). Knee is improving - I overdid it yesterday and then had PT today so it's sore tonight but I'm down to one crutch (although I'm taking both on the trip) which is easier. iheartpaper - thank you!

It's easy to push it after surgery. Hopefully a little rest will do the trick. I kept scrapping into the evening and worked on more review layouts. I just finished up paper and embellishments for July. I used some SS Summer Fresh, which was one of my absolute favorite collections when it came out. Maybe tomorrow I'll have a little time to work on August.

Congrats, linda for finishing that project. I am sure your mom will love it even if she can't express it to you right then. Hope you get some rest so your knee behaves during the weekend! So far in November, I have finished 5 Christmas cards and 4 gratitude pages. Printed my pics for the month of October. Still feeling somewhat in limbo after the vacation and then rushing home for the funeral. Hoping the creative bug--or ANY mojo-- bites me soon

I just put the finishing touches on 2 layouts (8.5x11) of my dd b-day. Then completed the other 2 8.5x11 layouts of her b-day.
Then I did a quick and simple Hulk layout for my ds. He was wearing a Hulk costume (playing dress up & not Halloween). I seemed to have more paper & embellishments than I do Hulk pictures. I squeezed six Hulk stickers and diecuts on the page in a cluster near the photo and journal strip before deciding to stop so that it doesn't look like Hulk sneeze.
And I just set out three pics and some paper to work on a Chutes and Ladders layout.
And I've made titles on four layouts with the one pack of Thickers, and still have more letters left. I'd definitely say I got my money's worth. And now I want more Thickers in my stash. It's a sickness.

I did my August 2015 layout and it just needs journaling. I think I'm going to skip over September and October because I'm expecting a SS Hello Fall kit in the mail in the next few days and I'm looking forward to using it right away. So...on to November!

Today I completed six layouts for my sisters kids albums and todays 30 days of thankful page. These were all small layouts and went together very quickly. I feel like both projects are coming along nicely.
I have everything for the 30 days project in the lid of a box that I just grab and throw the layout together.
For my sister/kids/mom albums I have a project box and I just change out the kits I'm working with. I have the albums close by so I can get a new set of pictures from each one.
I scrapbook all over the house. I like to be where my family is, so mobile is best.

My goal this month is to catch up on my PL album. I'm up to the first week of Oct and want to be no more than one week behind by the end of Nov. I have it open on my desk so I just need to pull my finger out and start printing photos to make it happen.

I worked on November and December layouts last night. Now I can do journaling for 10 layouts and some need titles that I'll cut on my Silhouette or find Thickers to match. I thought it was a huge goal to finish all 12 layouts this month but they're actually coming together quickly. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a little time for journaling and titles but I have a busy weekend ahead of me so I'm not sure. Is anyone scrapping this weekend?
