What product or products in your stash would you like to make a dent in?
I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I can't seem to use tile alpha. I love seeing them used, and I want to use my stash of them, but they never seem to look right on my pages. I'm going to work on this in the new year! I will pay more attention to how others make them work on their layouts.
What about you? Any products you'd like to learn to use? Any you just want to use up?

my fuse tool that is still in the package,my cinch that has not been used...so i guess my general answer should be these tools that I have purchased and not used!

Archiver's (the online version) used to sell these exclusive card kits from companies like Echo Park and Doodlebug. I bought a bunch of the kids' themed ones but haven't touched them. I'd like to remedy that this year.
ETA: by this year, I mean 2017.

I want to get back into playing with multi media. My papers & tools don't have a best before date, but some of that media needs to be USED!

Mostly paper. I worked on a lot of mixed media this year, and will continue using my stamps, dies, embossing folders, paints, etc. But now I have a lot of unused paper to incorporate into the process.
For Christmas cards, I challenged myself to pull out 5 holiday paper lines and make 5 cards with each. It has really helped me define what my style is a little more. I plan to continue that in the coming year.

Using a kit, collection, etc. I could challenge myself to pull five kits that have never been used and make five layouts out of each. Great idea! Plus all my alpha tiles....lol!

Layering stamps I only had the SU set Lotus Blossoms but have just added two Altenew sets and some of the layering inks sets. So I can't wait to actually make some layered cards. After that, I'm with the others on EVERYTHING It's been a while since I've actually scrapbooked, I've been making cards only for the past couple of years. I'm hoping to get back to scrapbooking and making at least 20 pages this year

Baby stuff. I've never scrapped DS's baby photos but I've been compiling lots of baby products. I think it's time that I got on that.
The other thing is past Christmas's. I think 2017 will be my year of catching up and finishing all my December Dailys and Christmas scrapping. There were a lot of products I loved out this year so I bought several lines and albums to complete my previous year's projects.

I bought a heating tool, some powder and ink so I could practice embossing a year ago and it's all still unopened! So I should probably start there lol

So I should probably start there lol I used to emboss when I went to the stamp club card making events. I had my own tool/embossing powders but rarely did it at home. This year I broke them all back out for some of my Christmas cards and I've fallen back in love with heat embossing

I need to use my fuse tool more as well. I'm not very happy with the results at the moment (need more practice I think) so that puts me off.

I want to complete past Christmas projects and use up some Christmas stash and also get some baby stuff scrapped and used up!

Or do you use something else as the mat underneath? I started using a glass cutting mat and wasn't very very with my results. I picked up the wrmk fuse mat and have had much better results!

I want to use up (or try to) my paper flowers. For so long I used them on every layout, and then just suddenly, they don't seem to fit.
Sequins and confetti. I feel like I seriously need to give some of this away or something. I bought a little here, a little there, and suddenly I'm drowning in the stuff.
PL cards. So many. Need to use them. I try to layer those pups in my layouts. I try to not be afraid of cutting them.

The big tools: my Vagabond, my Minc, my Cricut. Also some mixed media. I've done a lot of patterned paper, sticker, and embellishment pages this year, but I have all this other stuff.

I love reading everyone's responses! I would like to figure out what is wrong with my old Cricut that I used maybe a dozen times and just stopped working. I belonged to a monthly CTMH card making club years ago and would like to find another one-it kept me motivated and I don't even make cards! My CTMH rep is no longer selling.

I want to use up albums. I have many albums for various projects and I would like to fill at least 6 of them or more. I don't know what project I will really move on after the first months of the year, but I did finish 2 huge projects in 2016 and see no reason not to do at least that much.
The first 2 months I am going to catch up on current photos and at a Feb getaway I am going to work on my son's hobby photos for the 3 days.

I used my Mini Market alpha tonight..yay!

I really need to focus on using my patterned paper and alpha stickers, both of which are overflowing out of their storage spaces.
This is a great thread topic!

In my California years project I had to cover everything from Christmas to Disney but I know if I pull a few sheets of Christmas and throw it in the bin I will use those papers. It really allows me to use product that I might not choose otherwise. I also scrap 8.5 x 11 so if I have a single 3x5 photo of something I don't have to fill 12 x 12 real estate so it goes much more quickly. I also have ongoing projects like sons' college albums. Youngest graduates on Sat so I will be able to finish up that album in the next few months.

I too have a hard time making tile alphas look good! I have tons!
My product to make a dent in is paper though. I've bought around 20 pads this year and this past month over a hundred loose sheets. I love my paper but I want to use it so I can enjoy it in my albums!

I agree about wanting to enjoy the paper in my albums!

I plan to whip up most of the pages with the leftover bits and pieces from layouts that I've just completed. I've always heard you should take the leftovers and make a card...I just can't make a card to save my life!!! I really love hearing about your (and others) process! The hobby album for your son intrigues me, too!
