Just came across my phone as breaking news. Careless Whispers was my favorite song when I was expecting our oldest son. This has not been a good year for famous people!

I had thought he was older. Had he been ill?

The police said that there were no suspicious circumstances, which is often code for suicide.  This year needs to be over. Just saw the news breaking on the BBC. He was only 53. And Rick Parrott died the other day as well. I'm assuming your autocorrect kicked in here! |

 This really seems to have been a tough year for celebrity deaths. Michael George was way too young to be added to the list.

I'm just a year older than he was.
My son's name is George Michael and he went by both names until he was a teen. I wish I had a dollar for every time I was asked if he was named after the singer.

Faith is one of my favorite albums of all time. I thought George Michael's video for "Freedom90" was so cutting edge with all of those fabulously gorgeous models in it. He was so very talented even if his personal life could be a trainwreck at times.
