I wonder if he's realised yet that he's in way over his head? No. And he won't, because he's the smartest, bestest most wonderful President-Elect ever! A long time ago I said that he was going up against someone who is smart, ruthless and way better at the game than he will ever be. Not Hillary, but Putin. When Trump gets mad at you, he tweets. When Putin gets mad at you, you die. But I'm sure he's totally prepared to go up against a guy like that. If I were Putin, I'd be sooooooooo scared right now. SaveGood point. I think Trump idolizes Putin and thinks he can be just like him. That's like me thinking I could be a linebacker (I'm 4'10" & 85lbs)

those tiny fingers have been busy:
pjaye ! Stooooop paying attention to what his mouth says or what his tiny twitter fingers tweet and pay attention to his heart!!!! He totally can't get over the fact that he lost the popular vote. Dude, HRC is unfortunately irrelevant now - It's. All. On. You. His devaluation of the press is totally alarming. It *is* going to be a long four years.

hahaha!!! Does that make KellyAnne Conway akin to his faithful dog Max??
(thanks for ruining The Grinch for me forever now, though, by associating it with him...)
j/k! ...because the Grinch was likeable in the end, and I'm not sure DT can do that, no matter WHAT.

If you didn't know it was Trump tweeting, you'd think you were reading the ravings of a lunatic. I'll forever be dismayed that people feel he is equipped for the task of President of the USA. Ideally, it's a job for a servant leader. Even if I didn't care for a president, in my voting lifetime, I've always felt like our presidents paid a high cost during their years of service. I don't think Trump will 'serve' the people at all. He will only serve himself.

when I think "President" I also think "statesman" and "diplomacy" and neither of those apply, either, in my opinion.
like someone else said before: Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Lyndon Johnson, Ronald Reagan; Roosevelt (both FDR and Teddy); Lincoln, Clinton, Kennedy... and Trump.
It just doesn't fit. (sort of like the Sesame Street game 'one of these things is not like the other')

Watching Rachel Maddow tonight and she brought up tiny hands Tweet below. Clapper didn't say anything like that. What he said was: "Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said later Wednesday that he had spoken with Mr. Trump about the dossier and told him the intelligence community “has not made any judgment that the information in this document is reliable.” Rachel was holding the written statement Clapper released and waving it in the air saying "The President Elect lied to the people. A lie the people can check." That's twice in the last week she has said this about tiny hands lies. I think she is just amazed that someone would just out right lie like that especially since the lies are so easily checked. tiny hands Tweet.... "James Clapper called me yesterday to denounce the false and fictitious report that was illegally circulated. Made up, phony facts.Too bad!" It doesn't matter...his followers don't care if he's lying and if proof exists it's a lie. Does. Not. Matter. But his followers need to think what the consequences are. He's actually advertising in his own words and actions to the whole world, leaders of other countries, good or bad that the future President of the United States is a liar. And when things go belly up they'll be asking "What the heck happened" What he might have said could very well be the truth at the time but no one is going to believe him. It's like someone that cries wolf too many times, no one believes them when it matters because of their past lies.

Been thinking today..
How is he going to blame HRC or the media when he is actually the one calling the shots and it goes terribly wrong?
For instance, what if the economy tanks under him, or some other country starts a war, or whatever...who the hell is he going to blame then?
He will NEVER take responsibility for his actions...he is NEVER WRONG people.

I'm just glad he learned how to use an ellipsis so we know there are more tweets coming - instead of having to piece them together like a puzzle.

No. And he won't, because he's the smartest, bestest most wonderful President-Elect ever! Oh I agree with that on a public façade level and what he projects...but I mean when he's alone somewhere in his own private thoughts, is he having a "WTF did I get myself into?" moment. I think he thought winning would be the hardest part and once he won it would be all a cake walk, and now there's the Russians and the hacking and the attacks by the media and the constant criticism, I don't think he was prepared for all of that. I reckon he thought he'd be the "boss" and everyone would just settle down and respect him because it comes with the job...but that's not how it's going for him. I watched Anderson Cooper interview KellyAnne a few days ago when this goldenshowers thing came out and one of her statements really struck me. She was pivoting about something and mentioned that 8 years ago the media was fawning all over the Obamas and the upcoming inauguration and that none of that has happened for Trump. She sounded almost upset that no one was kissing Trump's butt and fawning all over him. It was interesting to hear. EDITED to fix spelling and autocorrect errors

We are headed towards having a state-run news network. Pence tried to do something like that in Indiana.

PenceJeez. I wonder if there would be an uproar (to state run news) now that we have Mr. FAKE NEWS delegitimizing the press.

I read Donald Trump's tweets every day, but I allow myself to post about them only occasionally.
For your sakes.
But this one:
"[Hillary] lost because she campaigned in the wrong states - no enthusiasm!"
So, we get a narcissistic, petty, vindictive, dishonest, ignorant, obsessive, impulsive, intemperate, base, myopic, undiscerning, gullible, embarrassing, inelegant, morally bankrupt, intellectually lazy, dangerous blowhard with only a glancing familiarity with his native tongue...
...but at least he's enthusiastic?

I'm getting to the point I just can't read anymore about this fool and what he potentially will do to our country. I want to stop watching the news, I've already blocked anything political on my FB feed, I even hesitate coming here cause I don't have enough willpower to not open political threads. I have learned so much from all of you, probably more than I wanted to know. 😉
I want to hole up with my Kindle, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon and let the world go by.
But if everyone did that, what a sad state of affairs that would be. We need to write our congressmen, stand up and be heard. If we all turned our back, he would get away with destroying our country.
But it's so depressing. I just want to go away and hide.

I was wondering how long it would take tiny hands to ATTACK!
"Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to......"
"mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk - no action or results. Sad!"
But Congressman Lewis may have a point, tiny hands may will be an "illegitimate president"
Evan McMullin the last minute Republican candidate has made a point about tiny hands attack on Congressman Lewis.
"While you avoided the draft, John Lewis risked his life for equality in America. You'll never even dream of such selfless patriotism, Donald"
As president trump will ALWAYS have someone attacking him. It goes with the job. At some point tiny hands needs to GROW UP and just shrug off the negative comments.

Where's the incentive to do better though? He showed us who he was in the primaries and still got elected. Hell, anybody reading his tweets to Robert Pattinson about Kristen Stewart should have noped out of voting for him. He's surrounded by people who seem afraid? of him or are willing to kowtow. He has the best words the best brain he's very rich and he knows more than anyone else. Face it, we're stuck with a delusional NPD.

What I find really interesting/astonishing is the sheer number of people who are mocking him right back on Twitter.
In all the years I've been alive, I've never seen a situation where people can instantly and painlessly let the POETUS know exactly what a buffoon they think he is. And I've never seen a POETUS who has such a thin-skin and is so unable to deal with it.
I know that lots of people haven't like GWB/Obama etc. in the past - and mostly they would just grumble about it. Some would put bumper stickers on their cars or a sign in front of their house. But today we have thousands - actually tens of thousands - who see what he tweets and then tell him EXACTLY what they think of him. I'm sure he doesn't sit and read through all of the responses or tweets, but he certainly reads some of them. And you know, it's got to bother him. He seems like he needs approval so badly and he's just not getting it.
Even some of his supporters have been tweeting him telling him that he's not Presidential and he's already disappointed them. He's not even in office yet and he's managed to add to the numbers of angry opposition members.
Twitter is a two-way street. Yeah, you can share your opinions with others and put down people like John Lewis. But there will be people on the other side of that conversation who will talk back at you. Many of those people are actually better-informed and better communicators than him.

I'm appalled with his tweets about John Lewis. And this the weekend we celebrate MLK. Twitter is ripping th a new one, I hope he realizes what a asinine comment that was.
th has 4 years of people being vocal with their opinions against him and his policies, he needs to put on his big boy pants and focus more on his real job.
eta th = tiny hands. He doesn't even deserve capital letters.

The White House will have a glam room for first lady (and th too probably). I'm sure he's got a whole staff for his beauty routine.
Quote from People mag(I think) "While it remains to be seen which designer Melania Trump will don on January 20, according to soon-to-be FLOTUS' makeup artist, Nicole Bryl, one thing is for sure: There will be a glam room in the White House.
Bryl told US Weekly, "There will absolutely be a room designated for hair, makeup and wardrobe" with "the most perfect lighting scenario."
And if you've ever wondered how long the incoming first lady's complete beauty routine takes, Bryl confirmed that it takes "about one hour and 15 minutes of uninterrupted focus." 🙄
Yep, I can see her now in Michelle's garden for sure. What a role model she's going to be. I'm sure the blue collar workers living pay check to pay check can relate to a glam room.

While it remains to be seen which designer Melania Trump will don on January 20 I'm hoping she'll actually wear clothes...doesn't seem to be a big fan of them in many of the photos I've seen. But seriously...she'll probably wear who ever is left that hasn't refused to dress her yet. Perhaps something from the Kardashian Kollection?
