From CNN Commentator Keith Boykin..... "Trump set up a meeting with Duterte without even notifying his own State Department or National Security Council. " Not that it would have made any difference. Sad!

Bette Midler.... "#Ivanka keeps doing business out of the WH. She should peddle a skincare line. Her dad’s presidency is aging the shit out of us all." I read that one on twitter. I laughed liked and shared. Her and George Takei crack me up in addition to sharing their insight.

President Donald Trump labeled brutal North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un "a pretty smart cookie" in a wide-ranging interview aired Sunday.

I don't think Trump's actions are correct but there a lot of American timber families cheering this today, including my brother's. Canadian imports have really affected them. Then why have free trade at all? Every time the USA has stamped fees on us, we take you to the tribunal, we win, you are suppose to pay up and we don't see all the money back. And while we wait for the ruling our timber families are hurting. Yet again. And it keeps cycling. In the meantime those that want to buy Canadian timber now can't buy so much and it hurts their business and these are American workers I am talking about. So while the American timber families are cheering, other Americans are not and Canadian timber families are hurting. This dance has gone on for decades.

I don't disagree with you, this has gone on forever and I think predates NAFTA. There are a lot of issues that affect the US timber industry and mechanization and monopolies are a big factor as well as Canadian imports. However, there are families in both countries that have been affected. It's been a seesaw for years and the mills are the only ones that truly benefit. I don't know what the answer is.
