And it continues.... "John Lewis said about my inauguration, "It will be the first one that I've missed." WRONG (or lie)! He boycotted Bush 43 also because he..." "thought it would be hypocritical to attend Bush's swearing-in....he doesn't believe Bush is the true elected president." Sound familiar! WP" I guess since it's not MLK day anymore he feels he can continue his attack John Lewis.

I did my own searching, and all I can find is article after article saying John Lewis did NOT attend the first Bush inauguration. And, I've come across the blurb in various places:
"Not only did the Washington Post report that he skipped Bush’s inaugural, but he questioned his legitimacy as well:
John Lewis, for instance, spent [inauguration] day in his Atlanta district. He thought it would be hypocritical to attend Bush’s swearing-in because he doesn’t believe Bush is the true elected president."
(In all fairness, I cannot find the exact WP article so this is what's come up in various places.)
So while I DO NOT agree with Trump's use of Twitter, and attacks, his last tweet seems to be on point.

The problem is not that trump has pointed out John Lewis missed W's inauguration, the problem is that he is commenting on it at all.
It reinforces just how thin skinned trump is and how easy it is to get under his skin. There are reasons foreign countries have hired people just to monitor trump's tweets. And this is one of the reasons.
If tiny hands had just ignored John Lewis's comments someone in the "crooked media" would have pointed out that this would not be the first inaugural Lewis had missed.
trump is his own worst enemy.

This twitter address is not his daughter, she is @ivankatrump no gap. A British woman woke up to loads of notifications on her account and the national media getting in touch with her. www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-38647934"A woman from Brighton who was mistaken for Ivanka Trump on Twitter by none other than the US President-elect himself has told the BBC it has been a surreal start to the day. Ivanka Majic, a digital consultant, said she and her husband were woken at 06:00 by calls from the media. They told her she featured in a tweet to Donald Trump's 20 million followers. Mr Trump was quoting praise for his daughter from another Twitter user, who had used the wrong username." So, he sent a twitter out to the WRONG person!!! OMG, and when he does this on the international front and starts an incident, for the love of G-D, please take his phone away! And this is how the other Ivanka responded! Love it! Majic responded to the President-elect on Tuesday morning with a tweet of her own: "And you're a man with great responsibilities. May I suggest more care on Twitter and more time learning about #climatechange."

Latest...
Well with the rush toward "self driving" cars I believe the decision to invest in plants in the US by any car maker would have been made regardless who was president.
And when did a job at WalMart become one of those well paying jobs trump has been bragging/promising about? And I believe the hiring has more to do with Amazon than trump.
trump "Thank you to General Motors and Walmart for starting the big jobs push back into the U.S.!"

Lots of disdain today for KA Conway after the videos of her dumping on Trump pre campaign and pre hiring.
Can't post the video but it's all over FB.

OMGoodness, companies can take 6-12 months to roll these decisions out to the public, and he's gotta claim it was "all him?" Truly appalled. And so many will believe him too, even scarier.

I heard them say on NPR this morning that Trump stated he would NOT stop using social media after the Inauguration, either... apparently his reason is: it's the only way to get 'the truth' out there because the fake news doesn't report the truth--
I actually got queasy when I heard that.

I actually got queasy when I heard that. I actually see that as a positive thing. He will have no one else to blame it on when his tweets cause problems with foreign governments or the press. These are his own words! He won't be able to claim he was misquoted or deny that he said something heinous. With the way he plays fast and loose with the truth, I believe his Tweets will come back to bite him in the butt. It is all there in black and white for all the world to see. No "fake" news there.

yes, but whatever he says and the press calls him on it, he will just cry 'fake news' 'crooked media' or 'left propaganda' or the like. We've seen him do it already, time and time again. They ALREADY TRY to call him out on untrue things he's said on Twitter, or ON CAMERA. He just ignores it, somehow.

Trump and not a tweet: " Now if the press were honest, which it's not, I would absolutely not use Twitter. I wouldn't have to. I don't like tweeting."
What he is doing is, obviously, is discrediting the media so when they report on things he does in a negative light he can claim it's "fake news". Unfortunately there are those who will buy it.
This is just another way of shutting down criticism of him the thin skinned twit.
Can't wait to see how he spins all the protests that are aimed at him.

So because this guy said tiny hands didn't divide this country it must be so?
There may have been a crack dividing this country but tiny hands has made it into a canyon that rivals the Grand Canyon and he has done nothing to close that gap.
"It wasn't Donald Trump that divided this country, this country has been divided for a long time!" Stated today by Reverend Franklin Graham.

"the American people. I have no doubt that we will, together, MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!"
But not until Monday.

For some reason it didn't feel right that president elect trump have a concert at the Lincoln Memorial. I guess I'm not the only one. A comic by the name of Mark Forward tweeted something that I would have loved to have seen happen.
"How great would it be if the Lincoln statue got up and left. #Inauguration"

Day one -- which I will consider to be Monday as opposed to Friday or Saturday, right? I mean, my day one is going to be Monday because I don't want to be signing and get it mixed up with lots of celebration," Trump said in an interview with the UK's Times of London and Germany's Bild newspapers.

I said that to my husband...I wasn't sure if any other President started the party before the actual swearing in.
He also had a big dinner at his hotel.

President Obama had a concert at the Lincoln Memorial in 2008 the day before the swearing in.
