I doubt the discussion will be how to get rid of them, so probably not going to be the meeting he thinks it will.

I doubt the discussion will be how to get rid of them, so probably not going to be the meeting he thinks it will. Trump's daughter, Ivanka, is expected to participate in the roundtable discussion on women in business. Female executives from the United States and Canada are expected for the round table, including General Electric Canada CEO Elyse Allan, TransAlta Corp. CEO Dawn Farrell, Linamar Corp. CEO Linda Hasenfratz, T&T Supermarket Inc. Tina Lee and Schnitzer Steel Industries CEO Tamara Lundgren. Also expected are Julie Sweet, CEO-North America for Accenture, NRStor CEO Annette Verschuren, Monique Leroux, chair of the board of directors for Investissement Quebec. Carol Stephenson, of the board of directors for General Motors Co. will attend in place of the GM CEO. Additionally, the meeting will include Katie Telford, Trudeau's chief of staff, Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland and Dina Powell, assistant to the president and senior counsellor for economic initiatives. Powell, Telford and Freeland were involved in setting up the council and recruiting the CEOS. Information from CTV News (Canada)

this is kinda (okay, that's an understatement, isn't it?) backwards... his tweets should fit their policy. But then again, we all know this isn't the kind of Presidency that makes sense.
Not totally related, but in the clip of Bill Maher interviewing Al Franken, Franken said there probably wouldn't be any talk of impeachment at least until the Republicans didn't have a majority... it's going to be a long two years of tweet-shit-storms.

Last night on our news, they mentioned the meeting and the hopes that Trump would not bulldoze over anything Trudeau offers or says. DH says "Trudeau just has to mention how he loves his thick, luxurious hair and how all the women love him and then Trump will lose it" Lol.

Huh? He's removing illegal criminals "and others" from where? Now he's just tweeting nonsense. Just where is he "removing them" to? Is he shooting them? Prisons are overcrowded as it is. My guess is he's referring to illegal immigrant criminals.

Are you kidding me!!!!!! I have to say this tweet by tiny hands has left me speechless. However I was on my way over here to post this random tweet. And this one tweet is the real story. "Flynn's resignation is a good start, but to quote the Watergate hearings, "What did the president know, and when did he know it?" Nixon waited until he was in his second term before Watergate happened. trump has started "Russiagate" in his first month in office.

Please remember: Trump did not fire Flynn Trump fired the woman who warned him about Flynn ^^^ VERY good point. (to clarify, micheley didn't say this, it was a quote- but I can't figure out how to get it attributed correctly.)

Well, yeah. Leaks from people who were eating dinner at Mar-a-Lago during your very public top secret briefing.

The ship out there doesn't bother me. It's in international waters, and it does sound like that's not an uncommon thing to have those ships out there. This NYT thing, however, seems to have potential to be a problem - my first thought is that it's a testing of the waters, to see just how we'll react. But that's just my uninformed thought, we'll see if there's more to this.

Tweet from Newsweek Reporter Kurt Eiehenwald that makes a valid point....
"Terror attack in post-civil war Libya: 4 yrs of GOP hearings. White House told of possible Kremlin compromise on staff: GOP says move on."

And then there is this tweet from Ways&Means Dems
"By a vote of 23-15, Republicans just voted to not request President Trump's tax returns from the Treasury Department."
Just an observation on my part. But if the Republicans in Congress don't do what they were elected to do pretty quickly, this Administration and Congress could go down in history as being the most corrupt government, not just in the history of the United States, but in the world.

And then there is this..... "Spicer now blames DOJ for not more quickly alerting them that Flynn's a liar - even though they let him stay for weeks after learning he was"

Didn't this briefing occur prior to the inauguration? He wasn't even hired yet, for crying out loud!
