Here is the YouTube of the stencil revealNot a big fan of the January release: have seen most of these somewhere before, and actually own some of them in TCW or some other brand. The February release is really interesting, and all but the geometric triangles may eventually find their way into my stash (the full size ones, not the minis). I think my favorite is the basket weave design, but the leaves and water splash are close seconds. For the March release, I like the slate, stone and mosaic designs. But the other 3 are a definite no: Have an alpha and don't see the need for another one. Not a pointy finger fan. And screw heads???

nicolep I have WAY more of his stuff than I should: I buy it because it looks like it will be fun to play with, and then I realize--yet again--that I don't have the skills to use it, OR the patience to learn how! His antique style is way too dark for what I want to do with my crafty stash. That being said, I like the brighter distress inks and stains and paints. And I have been playing with stencils. Has anyone got the link to today's reveal? I like the quality and color consistency of TH's Ranger products, but it does take time to learn. He's a good teacher, though! Here is a link to SSS showing all of the new things so far. I like some of the stencils, and a couple of the stamps. TH New Stuff

I am excited about some of the mini-stencils. I get 3 that way and I never use the whole thing. I am loving the bricks and stones stencils. I also like the bricks and stone stamps. I will be skipping the hipster stamps.

Names are way more user-friendly than a number. So there was a mini set I liked, but don't have a good way of naming it. Interesting that they turned off comments on the video too. Lastly, I dislike that he doesn't find a way to make the stencils/stamps repeating. It's a good option for those who would like to, so it seems like it would be worth the effort to make it repeatable. If you don't want to repeat it you wouldn't have to, but if you did, you could.

Oh my THANK YOU for the link! I can't be the only one who doesn't want to sit through 30 minutes of chatter to see a product. I know I'm being cranky and could have skipped around FF to see them...but don't most of us have better things to do? I don't understand the resistance of manufacturers to present products the simplest way possible. If they want to promote personalities, fine, but some of us just want information and pictures. I don't get the persistent promotion of personalities in the hobby. It's almost always backfired when the darling makes a blunder. Showing a little spirit is good, but don't forget the simple presentation.

ETA I should mention I've taken multiple Tim Holtz classes, he's a fun teacher. My opinion has nothing to do with him.
I want more friends to scrap /stamp/ craft with IRL. I can waste 30 minutes talking about a product with them!

Here is the video and the blog posting for the Sizzix dies. I think the ones I may buy are all in the February release: the city scapes dies look interesting, and not sure how many times I would use that plumbing pipe bigz but it might just find a home here.

I must be all on my own here but I love the hipster stamp, I love anything that is bit quirky and kitch so that stamp falls right into that category, would I buy it though....probably not. I am more a scrapbooker than stamper/card maker so I love it but don't really have a use for it. I really like the vines and roses and the slate stamp is beautiful, I would never use the stone stamp but slate I love, the one I can see myself buying though is Sea Life, beautiful stamps that I can see using time and time again.

Oh my! I have to have that plumbing die! My son is a construction plumber and sends me pics of some of his work. I also have pics from when he was little and loved dressing up as SuperMario!
I also like the second Alpha (the one in red). I'm a sucker for Alpha dies. Especially if the can cut thicker materials like the BIGZ can.
Luckily these are February releases and won't interfere with my January freeze!

I like the house dies and city scapes. The pipe die is just great. today is day one of embellishments. I don't think there will be really anything new from the ranger. Just the rest of his distress crayons and maybe repackaging of existing product.

He isn't the director of ranger anymore. But he is still a designer for them. He has Ranger listed on his reveal so who knows what will be coming from them.

So...now I have seen his storage release...I was really hoping for an all in one ink cube storage...the little tins drive me nuts. Some of the washi tape is a maybe but those twisted wire monstrosities do NOT do it for me The shoulder tote and spinning bag...done before. My wallet is still safe

I mentioned in the CHA thread that I like the metallic version of the kraft core cs. All it needs to make it perfect would be a copper finish on some of the sheets.
The rest of today's release was not that exciting for me.

Tim has uploaded the next set of Idea-ology products to his BLOG The video does not appear to be available yet. I am a fan of his word and phrase stickers, and I like the metallic letter stickers and the 3-D stars. Jury is still out on the rest of it until I can get a better look. For the record, I am NOT a fan of random heritage images. If the people whose photos are on your pages or cards are YOUR ancestors, great. If you found them in old newspapers, or in old trunks found in houses sold in an estate sale, --or on a sheet of TH pp--not so much. I don't know why, but this is a pet peave of mine.

I had high hopes for the storage solutions but was a bit disappointed. Much like camcas I was hoping for ink pad storage...I have the full size pads, not the minis, but I cannot find the perfect storage solution. His soft storage products were very attractive, but I've been scrapping for years and have tons of bags. I did get a chuckle out of the tag press. I "rediscovered" my Making Memories Tag Maker earlier this year and hunted down some rims on eBay thinking that I needed to make better use of the tool...I guess I could have waited and bought new Tim Holtz rims! I'm hoping they fit in the old tool, but then again I am all stocked up now. I'm excited about the foam stamps and the tape. I have a huge set of Heidi Swapp foam stamps from years ago that I love but are hard to use because of the size. I think the smaller size will be a good way for me to use some of my paint in my albums before it dries up. I like a lot of his products and designs, but as a traditional scrapbooker some of his very dimensional products just don't fit with the work I do. It's nice to see several things that will translate really well for scrapbooking. (Not the found people though...I have enough photos of folks I actually know )

I was excited about all the little accoutrements like the pulley wheels, finials, etc and using them with the vignette boxes. Have to recover from Christmas first so hoping they release after January.

Thank you for posting the Ink Video - he goes into those around minutes 14 - 15. I preordered mine at 20% off at Marcos Paper - expected in February! I can't wait to see the Facebook Live demo on those!
