So I just watched the Live Facebook Video on the Stamps. Sound was off so I just saw them, didn't hear anything he was saying.
I like one set, the brick and slate background stamp. Thats it. Nothing else really jumped out at me.
I will hopefully be able to tune in tomorrow to see the stencil.
So anything interesting to you

I am not on fb, so was stalking his blog to get the peeks. Hoping he gets them up there soon.
Brick and slate sounds like something I would use.

I didn't see a single thing that interested me. With all the new things that are going to start showing up, that's a good thing!

From first glance, I like some of the background stamps, and the word stamps, but most of the word stamps are not things I would use enough to justify buying a stamp. Many of the others are, um...too specific for my use.

As crazy as it sounds... I actually like that stamp! I'm done with cute and ready for snarky or whatever you call those animals.

TH big time fangirl here, but this is all just a big no for me. Maybe after I watch the FB video? The animals with glasses are too weird, and I can't imagine ever using them. I wasn't a fan of crazy birds and cats either...

The tags of the thick board, I have a project already in mind. The stamps, not really any that appeal to me.
At least it is just day one.

Those anthropomorphized animals are U.G.L.Y....... I agree... nothing here to wow me except perhaps that octopus...would buy that if I could get it alone I wonder if he will announce a new storage for his inks....I would love to see a tin that stored all the mini inks together..not in packs of 12 only

No fb here either. If they have a care at all of selling to non-fb-ers they need to use other social media not just fb live. ETA: Yeay-it hit YT: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xB2j_Kv_P_A I don't mind getting it after fb live. Just would prefer not to not get it at all just because I refuse to play fb.

I'm not liking the FB live, either. I'm rarely able to watch it live. The emoticons floating across the video are annoying. I can stop them, but then they start up again if you pause the video. Also, I haven't figured out how to fast forward if I've already watched it and want to look at something again. Maybe I'm just too lame to figure out something new. I hoped that Tim would eventually upload to YouTube, but none of them have been so far.

I don't need to see the demo in the moment, but nice to get it the same day. I like the Mini Motivation stamps, mainly because this set includes a dozen sayings for the price of 4 on another set. Don't really want to spend $75 US for all the sayings, but might spend $25. Love Slate & Stone. Would be a great background for a lot of things. I like the animals on On the Farm: I like that there is a beef cow, and that the animals are proportional so they could all be in the same scene, but I can't see myself stamping them each standing on the back of the next largest! Still not a fan of the ugly animals. Hipster? The butterflies and flowers are okay, but I am not a colorist, and I have seen lots of that type of stamp before. I think if I was going to use brush strokes of paint or ink behind another stamped image, I might--I don't know--grab a brush and actually do some colour myself. Have seen this type of stamp from different sources, and I really don't get it...

I just watched, and there are a few things that look fun. My favorite was called something like roses & vines. I will definitely look for it in February. Also, love the butterflies, but really, don't I have enough butterflies? If Sizzix comes out with matching dies, that would be the gotta have it deal-breaker. I'm with you, grammadee, on not getting the brush strokes and scribbles stamps. Seems like something anyone can do with a brush or pen. Tim says at the end that he finally figured out how to save the FB videos to his blog and YouTube, so look for the others not long after the live version. Stencils tomorrow. I'm such a sucker for them...

I kind of like the one with the small random images but that's about it. The hipster animals creep me out.

After watching the video, I have warmed up to some of the sets...I like flutter, and I may actually buy the small motivational phrases (they could be good for some non-occasion cards). My major issue is that there are some stamps that I really like but they are in sets where I would not use the other images...I love the phrases in the Noble Gentlemen set, but not much use for the gentlemen...I love the octopus, but probably have limited use for even that...I really like the ledger in the farm set, but not so hot on the farm animals. Fingers crossed that I might catch some of them on sale at some point.

Really liked Mini-Motivation, Brush Strokes and On The Farm. I'm lazy so Brush Strokes has lots of possible uses for me I can think of.
I haven't watched one of Tim Holtz's videos in a very long time. That was a really great video. I enjoyed his enthusiasm. Thanks for the link.

I don't need anything from this release or any release but I liked Flutter, Brush Strokes, and the Thick Board tags. I am more likely to just get the thick board as it's just $5.99. The stamps I already have others like them so I don't need to spend the $$. Just wish that it wouldn't take 3 months to get everything released but I guess I understand it from the business side.

I don't know what it is but I have never been able to get into anything Tim Holtz. YEARS AGO (like maybe 8-10!) I bought a pack of the huge grunge board letters and I have never opened them. Idk why but I just don't ever seem to like anything of his.

nicolep I have WAY more of his stuff than I should: I buy it because it looks like it will be fun to play with, and then I realize--yet again--that I don't have the skills to use it, OR the patience to learn how! His antique style is way too dark for what I want to do with my crafty stash. That being said, I like the brighter distress inks and stains and paints. And I have been playing with stencils. Has anyone got the link to today's reveal?
