I agree about the inks I have held off getting any brands of pigment ink because I also think they are messy so these sound like a good fit for me ...plus I do love the distress colours And of course today he has released his stamp press and I do like the sturdiness of it and the easy clean surface...no need to mess about with papers under it or taking pads in and out. So I will be preordering both of these. As an aside....tell me why he would not design the largest of the new pouches to fit 12x12 paper or the 12x12 stencils ? 14x11? ? Really .....?

It's my understanding that each designer is taking a turn designing the bags. Tim's was last year's bag that fit Distress Ink tins, even though it was made in prints from all of the designers. I'm not sure who this year's designer is, but they will probably explain the use they had in mind. I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's Dyan, made to fit journals, pens, etc.

Thanks oaksong....just seems like a dumb size don't you think? 14 x 11..... why not 14x12 and grab the scrapbooking market as well....? I agree! They were so very close! I could have thought of so many uses if the pouches were just a bit bigger. It would have been amazing to be able to put 12x12 stencils in a pouch. oaksong, what you said makes sense...I bet you're right on and they're for journals. Now I'm not holding my breath for anything 12x12 because, while lots of scrappers use Ranger products, the designers seem to design with other types of crafts in mind (art journals, assemblage, etc). I also have trouble storing 12x12 stencils and this could have been a winner...short sighted I think
