They have 6x6 and 12x12 paper pads coming. They are half off until Sunday and marked less than traditional retail. 6x6 are $4.99 and 12x12 are $14.99. I nabbed Lovely Day, Go Now Go and Little by Little in 12x12 and CP Little You and Cool Kid in 6x6. http://instagr.am/p/BQDtlEmBM6x ETA (was on mobile when I posted and now I can type easier): This reset has me curious. They used to get older stock and have a huge increase in online inventory from all of the major brands, usually every 3-6 months. It's been almost a full year since they had an influx of anything new online besides the items they also carried in store, which were almost all AC brands except for the Tim Holtz mixed media and Webster's Pages planner stuff. I'm thinking that maybe this partnership included a non compete or something in terms of what they carried online or if they thought this partnership would be more lucrative over the other product. The fact that they have brand new lines while I'm hearing rumblings in some FB groups that AC is behind in getting stock to other retailers (blaming Chinese new year...which you know...happens EVERY year) makes me wonder how much of a priority Joann's is going to be and how much AC branded product is going to show up. They dedicated an aisle to things pulled from the loose paper aisle (not sure if it's marked down, looks like it was just put out of the way) and have some AC branded loose paper that is no thicker than printer paper in that section now, too...which only ups my suspicions.

So its coming! I also noticed that many of the crate lines were available by the sheet in the bulk scrapbook paper section.

I saw one paper that I immediately recognized as AC branded...but I couldn't pinpoint the line. It was as thin as printer paper. Not impressed...after that thinness, I didn't even bother looking at the rest. AND the retail price was 79 cents (it's 12 for $2 at the moment, though)...no freaking way. A buck gets you the real deal double sided thick paper online...that is such a dishonest "we know it's always going to be on sale" price point.

My Joann's is tiny and they never have much of anything. I wonder how much of this new stuff they'll have. At 50% it's worth a quick stop.

It was paper thin like you said so I didn't bother buying it. I hope the bulk ones won't be thin too!

I found a cheap large My Mind's Eye paper pack at either JA or M's that was the exact same design as MME's line but the paper was much thinner like you gals have been saying. I guess they contract with manus to get versions of some of their lines that are more cheaply made to sell? I don't know ... kind of odd, but it worked for me that one time because it was an older line that I couldn't find elsewhere.

I remember noticing this with paper designs from We R years ago. I saw one I liked for a project at a box store so I bought it even though it was thin and single sided because the pattern was perfect. I got more from another place, and when it came it was cardstock weight and double sided. Definitely not apples to apples.

I wonder if it's worth a trip to my local store.... It's the saddest place. Not small, but any means. But the shelves are always two-thirds empty and they never have anything good. I have no idea how they stay in business. (OK, I guess I do - they sell a lot of fabric and decor stuff). But their papercraft aisles are pathetic. The Michaels two blocks down the street looks like a high end store in comparison. I hope they do get some brand name paper pads for the sake of their customers.

It's like the bargain basement of a store in some third world country. I only go there if I need thread, which is sad, because I would spend money there if they had any products.

Yesterday the clerk told me that Tim Holtz and Heidi Swapp sections were expanding from 1 to 3 panels each and the stamping section was expanding as well. The stamping area will include the die cutting products too.

Does anyone know if these lines will be a a majority of JoAnns or just a select few. I remember when they carried Basic Grey they would only stock it at one or two stores in my area. Even some of the larger/mid-sized ones wouldn't get it. I know the closest one to me will never get the new lines. They cut the scrap area to letter stickers, a few punches and a few plain card stock packs. It's in with the poster board stuff.
Also, do they have any embellishments to go with the lines? I'm guessing not. That's what I liked about Basic Grey when JoAnns carried it. They had both paper and embellishments.

I continue to say I am not buying cheap quality knockoffs. I really hope they are adding actually name-brand quality products. I'd gladly spend some of my scrapbook budget there, it they do. Otherwise, I am going to continue to shop online. (I don't have a LSS within 60 miles).

I had just been in JoAnns and noticed that a reset was underway -- but didn't see any of the above mentioned paper.
So -- today -- I specifically got dressed, cleaned up and went out ---- and this says way too much about me --- for paper and wine.

Ugh I caved and went today. I got 5 of the 6x6 pads ($2.50 each) and 1 12x12 pad ($7.50). I also ended up getting an ott lite and storage on sale. The scrapbook section had a whole aisle that was blank and some other areas too. I am wondering what they plan to add...

If they are going to have a large Tim Holtz section, I'll make the (dreaded) trip to a superstore. They are seriously understaffed, but new TH stuff would be worth the aggravation. Have I mentioned how much I hate Joanns stores? Maybe they'll have it online too.

This is exciting...love that they are expanding the scrappy section. Such a nice change after years of stores closing the scrapping areas in big box stores shrinking. Fingers crossed it means the industry is stabilizing a bit.

That explains it! I stopped at a Joann's yesterday and it looked like they were going out of business. Most of the paper craft shelves were empty and whole sections had been removed. I guess my location is getting a major reset, too.

I ran to Joanns today and they had started adding to the stamp section - Mama Elephant stamps + dies, and more Hero Arts Stamps + Dies. From the packaging of the ME stuff, I guess they partnered with Hampton Arts? Anyway, they had Hampton Arts stamps and dies as well.

When I got home I looked on their website and they aren't on there....but since they are new maybe they havent gotten them there yet? I dunno. The stamps they had were not the full versions of their regular stamps, but smaller sets (if that makes sense? They were about 4x6 size including the die). The following sets were the sets that they had: up & away, unicorns and rainbows, playful pups, pandemonium... there were more but I cannot remember which other ones. They were 40% of 12.99.

Sounds similar to the small Kelly Purkey sets. Makes me wonder if Hero is involved in the partnership. March is national craft month and for at least 2 weeks, the SB section is usually half off. If we get thrm here, my tax refund is going to be missing a few dollars! LoL! Thanks so much for sharing. I am insanely excited about this. We don't usually see the limited releases...so here's hoping we get these items!

Ok, I was wrong about the size. They are smaller. Here's the ones I got with my gift card: Can you give me the barcode to one? I would love to call my store and see if they have them...screw the SB, lol. The best commercials will be on YT anyway. They are so cute...and I kind of had a squirrel moment and didn't see the part of the HA partnership because I was too busy going 'omg, omg, omg, need to buy all the things.' Sorry about that!
