My office is doing themed pot lucks every so often and the theme for the next one is "appetizers and desserts". I'm trying to think of something that I can take besides meatballs (someone else is bringing) or cocktail wieners (I don't like them lol).
Any tried and true ideas or recipes?

LOL. *Open face mini cucumber sandwiches (slice of cocktail rye, mayo, slice of cucumber, seasoning) *Homemade french onion dip and chips *Ham Rollups *Dude, cheese curds. Because obviously. (Fine, cheese and sausage and crackers.) *Look for a million and one recipes with mini phyllo shells. *Totinos pizza rolls (you have a microwave at work, no? LOL)

My co-workers loved bacon wrapped sweet potato bites. I've also done a cherry cheesecake dip from Pinterest that was a nice sweet.

Spinach dip and pumpernickel bread. I buy the bread round and hollow it out...put the dip in there. Looks fancy I do this with sourdough bread ... it's always a hit Buy two loaves and cut one up and hollow the other up ... I also also serve at my Book Club: Shrimp Ring with Cocktail Sauce Bruschetta with sliced baguettes I buy these so no real prep involved other than slicing the bread ETA: I also buy the spinach dip at the deli ... easy peasy!

I made the cheese stuffed mini bell peppers on Iowa Girl Eats for Super Bowl. Nice because they aren't spicy like jalapeno poppers.
Maybe a fruit dip platter?
Bruschetta is good for travel because you can just toast the bread ahead of time and spoon on the tomato/basil or whatever cold topping when you get there.
