Has anyone tried storing their Unity stamps in the Stampin Up stamp cases? I read over on the Unity FB group that the foam backing can interact with some plastics. Some people said they've used the cases no problem and others said their foam was damaged. Any opinions? I just bought some SU cases and now I'm afraid to use them.

I put my unity stamps in SU cases. I haven't noticed any problems but then again, odds are I wouldn't care if I had (I am not expecting my stamps to outlive me). You could always put a laminated sheet in the box, and put the stamps on the sheet. (I think some people use something called duralar?) Or you can put them in the boxes in their plastic bags, though you won't fit quite as many since you can't jigsaw puzzle them together.
Some sets are so big that they fit a case by themselves. Some cases have multiples. And I slide the little unity info sheet into the cover space trimming sometimes as needed, otherwise overlapping.

What kind of foam is on the back of Unity stamps? How would one tell? It just looks like foam to me. LOL. (Actually, I think unity's foam is black.)

Since there's a possible issue w/ plastic cases I was just curious what kind of foam is on the back of their stamps. I only know of the foam that's on the back of Stampin' Up! stamps, Hero Arts, Basic Grey, etc... I have no issues storing these stamps in SU! cases.

I have had u it's stamps in DVD cases for several years. No problems so far. If there were, I would just take off the foam and put some tack it over and over on it.
