Die cuts. Most of them are still in the packets but I just have no idea how to sort or how store them and the ones that don't have a packet just kind of get moved from container to container, it frustrates me as I am pretty happy with the rest of my system but I just don't get die cuts.

My most difficult thing to organize is all my ephemera. Do I leave it with the kits or do I just put it all together in a basket?

Craft room is more or less sorted, the problem I have is where to store the stuff I`ve been making for a craft sale that doesn`t look like it will be in the near future. Canvases, jewellery, sewed stuff, mini books. photo frames etc. The list goes on. We live in a small house that has limited storage for the everyday stuff let alone the craft things. I could stop making so much but where`s the fun in that?

For me it's PL cards and stickers.
Granted I don't have all that many PL cards--maybe a couple hundred--but I just can't seem to find a container that will house them in an organized manner. The ones I've found are either way to big or don't have divided sections. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
I've about given up on stickers. I just don't think there's a way to organize them since they're so varied. Some have phrases or words and some are just decorative. Ah, well.

I'm another one that has trouble organizing my scraps (leftover odd pieces). Any ideas from anyone? This isn't the most space saving idea, but it works for me. I use something similar to this. Although my handle is bigger and mine doesn't have that neat organizing lid! I use hanging folders, each one w/a slip of colored cs in the label thingie (and one for patterned scraps) and store all my smaller scraps that way. Like I said, it's a little bulky, but it's easy to find store & find them and it's portable. Hth.

I'm another one that has trouble organizing my scraps (leftover odd pieces). Any ideas from anyone? I separate my smaller scraps into maybe three or four color groups (pastels, darks, warms, cools) and when I get enough of them, I make stuff. Usually I just make striped borders because they're quick and easy, but sometimes tags or flowers, or covering chipboard. It's a quick way to get the stuff out of the scrap box and into my books.

Organizing is one of my favorite aspects of scrapping! I'm a simple, story-focused, journaling-extensive, cardstock-intensive, & traditional 12x12 scrapper that incorporates various sizes/configurations of page protectors to hold extra photos/memorabilia. My current dilemma is storing the various sizes (e.g. 12x12, 6x12, 6x8, 8x8, 8x11.5) & numerous configurations of protectors, so they are easily identified, accessible, & occupy a small amount of space! I store all my assorted sizes of page protectors in a 12x12 3-ring binder. . This is what I do also. I use an album that is not the best for a scrap book, but good enough for page protectors.

I have lots of issues organizing scrap stuff, here are a couple: 1. Journaling cards and stickers and 'bits' (those little preprinted die-cut shapes) -- Often you get a package or sticker sheet that mixes these altogether - shapes and boxes, journaling, and pictures. Sometimes these come in small packets, sometimes in 12 x 12 or 12 x 6 sticker/cut out pages. Sometimes I put them with the related paper, sometimes I stick them in a box with other journaling cards/stickers/bits/die-cut thingys. No really consistent way to organize these mixtures of pre- printed and write-your-own journaling boxes and stickers and diecuts. 2. Kits - I was in a kit club for about 3 years. I have kept my kits together, because I always imagine that I will make a page with the items in the kit and I never do, but I can't bring myself to split them up. And the odd items would create a whole new set of organizing challenges. So right now they are still kitted in 12 x 12 plastic envelopes and all over the place.

Clear stamps also. Have some in Sterilite drawers, by category ; some in binders, by manufacturer; one binder of itty bitty stamps; and some in baskets on my counter..most recent purchases and favorites.

Punches. Every time I think I have the solution, I buy another one and need to start from scratch.

My biggest problem is my photos as well. I end up printing the same photo twice and always find the second copy after I scrapped the first! Good thing they are cheap. For those that struggle with die cuts...I store my die cuts by manufacturer in the cheap Ziplock Tupperware. I put them in by line, but mix different lines by the same designer in the same Tupperware. So I have all of my Dear Lizzy together, all of my Maggie Holmes together, etc. This really works for me for a couple of reasons...it's cheap, I think by manufacturer especially with lines that I love, and it is easy. It's not easy going through the dies in the box, but I just pull a few out at a time and then dump them all back in. Hope this helps someone!

I have two: Paper and Project Life cards. I've tried organizing my PL/journaling cards a couple of different ways, but nothing seems to work. I finally picked out some cards to put in my Raskog cart to keep them on hand, and the rest I literally just put in a box because I gave up on organizing them. I never tried anything with paper because I'm overwhelmed by it.

Flowers. I have thousands in packs and loose. I have paper and fabric. Printed and solid. Large and small. There are flat ones and bulky ones. It's all so hard to organize.

1) Kits. I agree - split or not to split? 2) 3x4 cards so I can see and use (not hoard) them.

Buttons. I would say buttons are my nemesis. And clear stamps. I have a system, I've just purchased a gazillion more since I started the system and I need like 4 more binders to put them all in. Maybe one day.

My hardest thing to organize are all my die cuts. I like the idea of having them out of the package and loose, but I don't have a container adequate to hold them, so they just look messy. My stamps are pretty bad too, but luckily, I don't have that many.

I would love to hear more thoughts on organizing clear stamps. I saw someone stamp images of all of their stamps on card stock to reference instead of flipping through binders of the actual stamps. I might give that a try.

I do, and they can get thick, but given the way they are currently stored - thrown in a box, it's better than nothing. I might actually get to work on this today. You all have inspired me!

I would love to hear more thoughts on organizing clear stamps. I saw someone stamp images of all of their stamps on card stock to reference instead of flipping through binders of the actual stamps. I might give that a try. I bought a bunch of the clear plastic DVD cases to put my miscellaneous clear stamps into. They're about .60 each when bought in bulk, so I split a case of them with some friends. Each case holds roughly two of the bigger sets. The next step will be to figure out how to store the filled cases. I'm not sure if I want to use wall mounted DVD racks or put them on a shelf or in a drawer. I think I want to unmount many of my wood mounted stamps and put them in the cases also because it will save tons of space, so I need to consider that too. Eventually I'd like to catalog the stamps too, but I tried that once before and it was too much work because I had too many that fit into multiple categories. For example, does a snowy house go under buildings, under Christmas, under winter, or maybe snow? Uggh. Too many choices. I probably should have started before I had thousands of stamps to categorize!
