Waiting patiently. I ordered mine from ACOT. Even though they say April, I'm not expecting it until May, since I ordered a little late and this is a very popular item. I just hope I get one before their "cease and desist" order arrives from you-know-who, the party pooper.

On the Tonic Studios Instagram there are 2 people who have the platform already. I'm guessing they are design team members. So I'm waiting to see if they do a review soon. Cannot wait to buy one!!

I have the original pink one, which I am happy with....however, when and if it breaks, I will be getting the Tonic one. I can pre-order it here in NZ, but it's around $80

Do you guys know if there has been a change in shipping? I was about to order one but they said the manufacturer wasn't shipping until May 30.

They have been manufactured, as evidenced by video demos. Maybe their preorders have reached capacity, and the new date is for another manufacturing run. Keeping my fingers crossed that nothing goes wrong with the distribution. I really want this one!

I don't know anything, but I do know when I pre-ordered from ACOT, the website said they had 22 (left) available for pre-ordering. When I went back to the site 2 days later, it said more than a 100. So maybe that was a 2nd order? Maybe where ever you looked is on the 2nd order also?

I preordered from oozak and haven't gotten any recent updates. I wish they had a facebook page or something where they posted updates.

(I'm strictly curious, so don't feel obligated to answer.) I loved my Misti when I first got it - and it is one of the very first versions. I'm in Canada and with shipping and the exchange, it cost me close to $100. Absolutely out of nowhere it started to have hairline cracks. I seriously have no idea why. I have only ever used the recommended cleaner and I treat it with more care than you can imagine. Now the cracks are deeper. I just watched the Simon Says blog hop yesterday and Jennifer McGuire used her Misti for one of their new background stamps. If I put that kind of pressure on my Misti, I swear it would snap in 100 places!

Well, I just got an update from ACOT that shipping from the manufacturer is delayed until May. As long as they do actually ship, I'll be happy.

I just read that the misti owner issued paperwork to have sales stopped. Supposedly tonic said it will take their lawyers about 4 weeks to work it out and should be shipping in 6. FFS

FFS Just what I was afraid of. I can't believe she got a patent in the first place for something that was invented in the 1400s. From what I can tell in the patent, the fact that it's for the paper crafting industry is what makes it unique. Way to keep the rest of us from having something that is of better quality and value than your crummy little "invention", MISTI. I hope that one of these companies she has an injunction against files a countersuit of some sort. This is ridiculous.

I have seen a handful of people on You Tube reviewing it this week, in addition to Jen Schow and Laura Bassen. Tonic is starting to market it hard. I really, really hope it's because Tonic feels it can win. I hope so because it is such an upgrade from the misti. I'm sorry but that thing is ugly and very elementary looking compared to Tim's. Plus I would never buy a misti. Never.

I bought my misti way before all the hoopla and drama over law suits. I love mine and it's worth every cent I paid.
