One of the things that made NSBR what it was, was the fact that it had little to no moderation. Can we have a promise from owners/mods here that they won't turn into polly pearl clutchers or defend their friends by banning anyone that disagrees? Even if Enough shows up?

I just want to be clear though, that even though lots of ppl disliked enough, I never considered enough a troll so I think she has as much right to be here as say, kelpea.

Well the report button here seems to actually work, and you have to really work to click on it. Instead of how I would accidentally press it almost daily on TwoPeas. I think more reasonable people are going to show up here in the beginning. You'd have to be pretty pathetic to keep trolling here. Hopefully the true trolls will go back under their bridges . And who knows, Enough was an alter of a real Pea. Maybe she will take this opportunity to go back to her real self without the Enough handle. Because we know most people simply disagreed with her because it was HER, not because of the content of her posts. |

I don't mind the trolls, if they are actively participating trolls. I mean sure, enough is annoying, but I'd still call her a member, not a troll. I don't think you can label anyone a troll unless they are flooding the board with spam or something.
And pea bay, thank God for your avatar. It's quelling my freak out at NSBR disappearing a bit.

They show up in menu bar - far right button. |

If you scroll down to the quick reply box, look to the right of the blue bar and there is a place to click "reply" that will take you to the full reply box and the emojis are alllll the way to the right. You just have to click the icon with the smiley face and a drop down menu with all of them will show up! |

Even though it wasn't heavily moderated there was a certain level of respect towards those of us who don't swear for example. There would be occasional words to emphasize a feeling but it wasn't like F this, F that, JC this all over the place either. I kind of hope it stays similar.

Instead of agreeing to ban trolls, perhaps we can agree upon some broad terms of use. Personally, as long as people don't post personal info about others or outright go batshit-racist-threateningly crazy, it'll make moderating this board easier.

It would be best if people just didn't engage with the trolls, but I suppose that is too much to ask.
There is a block option - I know I will probably get familiar with that feature!
I agree with sock about posting of personal info and personal attacks.
