I am also just glad to have found this place, and hope to post more/lurk less than I did at NSBR. I was a member there for about 8 years, but only had a few dozen posts.
I don't think a bunch of sub-boards is a good idea, though, as many hot topics seem to cover serveral. For example, religion and politics.

I do agree with sub boards. The only one I really want is one for Enough if she shows up here and one for politics!

I am glad to be here as well, not surprised 2 peas shut down but wish we would have had more notice. It was like

I will go on the record and say we should only have one NSBR. I think making a bunch if different boards changes the dynamics. If we must, I'd say one hit topic board and one gentle board, but I am even against that.
One of the reasons the NSBR worked like it did for so long was the diversity of topics and relative fast pace (even though it had slowed down, it was still faster than a lot of boards).
