So you think the President and I suspect Hillary should have sat in the situation room for the 10+ hours of the attack? To do what exactly? Get information that they did get throughout the attack? That if need be during that 10+ hours they could assemble in the situation room fairly quickly. It's not like there weren't people monitoring the attack during the entire time. Its amazing how petty the criticism became toward the President. I don't care that trump wasn't in the situation room during the Yemen attack. Each president has to decide for what they use the situation room for. My gripe with trump is that he decided to give the Yemen attack a go over dinner. Which leads me to believe he didn't vet it enough before deciding. This attack was a departure from previous activities in Yemen. And when it went wrong he blamed President Obama saying he had already given it the green light when in fact he hadn't. Based on his behavior I don't trust trump when he makes these decisions that send our military in harm's way. That he doesn't think them through. Because I don't think he's capable of it. I don't care if you don't care that Trump wasn't in the situation room during the Yemen attack that resulted in the death of an American soldier. I was responding to artgirl1 who made a big deal of it and very much DID care. It stands to reason that if it's important to her that Trump wasn't, then it stands to reason that it's important to her that neither was Obama during the Benghazi attack that resulted in the death of 4 Americans. Did she personally tell you this one action is a big deal to her or are you just assuming that it is? If you read her first post you get the impression she just about had it with trump period. Can't say that I blame her much. With trump it's just never ending.

But you had to jump in and say it didn't matter to YOU. I pointed out to you, that YOU weren't the one who said it, I wasn't responding to YOU. Now that you know that, you can move along and tackle something that DOES matter to you.

From David Frum at the Atlantic....
"Secret service golf cart rentals during the Trump presidency have already surpassed $35,000"
trump owns the golf course which means he owns these golf carts. Since they are there to protect him he should let them use the golf carts at no cost to the American tax payer. Otherwise he is making money off his Protection detail.
This is just so wrong.

Wow...and that's just one small example I'm sure. The principle of that is shameful.

I heard last night that he and Malania both landed in FL on different Air Force One planes. Couldn't he have waited for her to fly to DC so they could take one plane to FL rather than two separate planes?
Geez! While it's probably a small expense compared to all the others, it just keeps adding up and is so wasteful.

As a woman who stayed home with her family and now is back in the workforce-essentially starting over at 50-I will say that I am extremely irritated by a man (President) who claims to be for the hard workin' folk who has essentially spent more on flippling golf carts than I make in a year. And it is me, who makes hardly anything that is expected to be okay with this out of control gallivanting around MY STATE while I count over single penny spent at the grocery store. All the bickering back and forth pisses me off. Yes, previous presidents have vacationed. Yes, we the tax payers paid. But we didn't pay for them to spend almost every fucking weekend at the "Southern White House." I haven't taken a vacation in years that I paid for and didn't even think to begrudge past presidents like I do this one. I am sorry, but fiddling while Rome is burning (or in this case eating really good chocolate cake while approving a massive bomb strike) just doesn't sit well with me.

A quick glance back a page or two and I didn't see a link to this website. I know nothing about the organization that created this page and am not going to spend my Saturday doing research to appease certain peas either A quick search tells me it is reportedly non-partisan and left leaning, so take it for what it is worth. I find the ticker nauseating, but I applaud the fact that someone is watching and keeping track of how bigly he lied about his plans to work in DC and continues to blow through OUR money for his jaunts down to Margaritaville. ETA- I would LOVE to see this website stream live on those fancy electronic billboards across the country. And alternate it with a summary of what the incumbent Senator and/or Representative has said or done about it. That would be a PAC I would donate money to support.
