Don't usually get to post while I'm watching. I'm not sure if any/many do that so I may be talking to myself for a while!
So far, I have to say that Jeff did a really good job managing his disappointment when he returned to camp after TC. That's how you do it people! And it think Zeke is buying into it.
The reward challenge was awesome. I love seeing Ozzie kill it (although that might be bad news for him) and the reward of pizza and cold soft drinks looks AWESOME!

I love the spoilers, and I'm on the westcoast too!
Doesn't matter to me if I know who got voted out, I enjoy watching the process.

I'm watching, but I'm about 10 minutes behind. I'm recording it because I knew I'd be a little late. I liked the reward challenge, I'd love to try that ball launching contraption!

Damn you Hali for figuring that out! Guys please don't listen to Jeff and vote out Ozzie. Jeff is really working it and might save himself!

Omg!!! Jeff might have just blown it. He did one of the ugliest things ever at TC. If they don't vote him (Jeff) out now, I have zero respect for the remainder of the tribe.

I really think he almost had them convinced to vote with him. There was no need to do what he did 😠

Do you guys think this was scripted? The whole "metamorphosis" was certainly convenient timing. I don't know - it felt a little planned to me.

Yep, he could have convinced them perhaps. In what univers does Varner exist in that he could HAVE ever, EVER possibly thought that was a good idea and would work out well for him???
I will say that how the tribe responded gives me faith in humanity.
Despite all that, I am SHOCKED that Jeff still didn't have them vote. That seemed wrong to me even though I kinda liked it.

Wow, what an idea Peabay. That's kind of crazy. How could that have been scripted though? I mean what would that even look like? Aren't these puzzles planned far in advance. That just seems so....I don't know, impossible. But it is a weird coincidence.
What do the rest of you think?

That just seems so....I don't know, impossible. But it is a weird coincidence. What do the rest of you think? Well, I think most of those shows aren't pure reality and are scripted to some degree. If Varner works with the LGBTQ community in NC, would he really do that to somebody? That just didn't ring true to me either. I obviously don't know what happened, but I do wonder if there was a publicity decision made (with Zeke and Varner in on it) to reveal Zeke's gender at birth. It just seemed strange.

It does seem a little too convenient. Probably was scripted. I'm just shocked a gay man would out someone else

Like, maybe it was only 5% of the whole time they filmed, but because of the theme, that's what they chose to focus on. (Because frankly, Jeff's turnaround, "OMGWHATHAVEIDONE" realization seemed to come a little too quickly.) So my guess is that the timing was in fact coincidental, but editing to emphasize that segment makes it look scripted.

It did seem strange but I really don't think Survivor is scripted. I believe some reality TV shows are, but not this one. I believe they use editing creatively and work to get certain responses, but not scripting. Perhaps I'm naive but I just don't believe that. I think it's possible I suppose that Jeff had mentioned he would use that info and maybe they created that puzzle word as a result of that. I don't know.
It will be interesting to hear what people have to say. The dirt will come out. I really, really hope what some of you are thinking is wrong though. Survivir is one of my very favorite shows and I will be sooo disappointed!
Eduted to correct an absolute slew of typos, like the worst I've ever seen!

That was the most uncomfortable tribal I've ever sat through. I hated every second of it after Jeff's bomb. All I could think was why in the world they put that on TV. I'm sure they talked to Zeke and he said it was ok. Or maybe I just hope that they did. I wanted it to not have happened, and I wanted the producers to have not shown it. It was awful.
The metamorphosis thing stood out to me too. I don't believe it is scripted at all beyond them being asked leading questions sometimes, but the timing is so odd.
I just really hated this episode and I want it stricken from Survivor history. I DO NOT want to see it brought up on Previously on Survivor. I do not want to see the aftermath. I feel like I personally have invaded Zeke's privacy and I want it to stop.

I really don't think it was scripted or planned. There was one point, where Varner was trying to defend himself, that Jeff Probst looked like he was going to cry.
Jeff Varner will ALWAYS be known as an evil player now--probably the MOST evil. I'm sure he has lost so much respect in the LGQBT community (and world in general). I don't think he would have agreed to that as part of a script. It was his own STUPID idea.
It was sad to watch. But did make me think a little of the tribal council where Zeke bullied David.
