There's no risk of bending the plate, let me tell you: you could probably use it as a murder weapon. "It was the scrapbooker in the conservatory with the Stamp Platform lid." In his video, Tim described it as suitable for 'CPR stampers' which I think was just perfect

Gah, I've been reading this thread mainly for the drama, but I'm getting seriously tempted to buy a UK version Tonic. I hardly ever stamp (although I do have quite the collection) and pretty much never make cards any more. Someone please talk me out of thinking this tool will magically turn me into a stamper! Nope! It works great for PL cards AND I think it can be used for layouts as well (don't quote me...maybe find some demo videos to confirm and enable you more). LoL! It can be used on larger layouts as well because it has 2 open sides - so you can basically stamp anywhere on 12x12 (or in my case 9x12) piece of cardstock or paper. I just used it to stamp on the cork SC world map for a travel album layout: SaveSave

When the misti hype started I bought one because everyone else did. I didn't stamp at all at the time and probably didn't even use my misti until about 3 months after I bought it (when I took it out of the drawer where it was stored BY ITSELF it was cracked-so it cracked with pretty much one use (when I first got it I tried it out)). Now I stamp a lot more than I did.

It's here, it's here, it's here! (the excitement is real) It's a beauty! Well what I could see of it. I just got notification mine hit the US shores and should be delivered early next week. Really?!!! Yay it's happening! It's really, really happening!!! Not sleet, nor snow, nor sour petunia's can keep our stamp platforms from us!

I love the random quote dates!! We keep this up and it will look like the TH platform existed before the MISTI! I mean...hey, look, timestamps say so!!

I heard they are shipping to the US as we speak and depending how long it takes to clear customs, they should be in our hands soon!
I heard that the modification was that the rulers no longer touch. I cannot wait.

I cannot wait. Source?! I've been waiting so long and want to make sure I pre-order from ACOT (20% off with no minimums only on pre-orders) before they arrive, but I also don't want my money sitting in limbo for an eternity due to all of the delays. They stated 3+ weeks for them to start shipping out...so earlier would be nice, for sure! I already know I missed the first batch, but hoping to get mine in the shipment right behind it.

Midnight on a Sunday night and I'm fighting off the heatwave with the electric fan and some late evening scrapping (not very compatible #HeavyCardstockPlease). This Stamp Platform is da bomb. It was so easy to apply alpha stamps to this 6x12 layout so that the descender of p and ascender of b were aligned to frame the matted photo. Ugh! I love this thing so much. I've had a weekend of enjoying the early summer and not being at home but I'm so glad to be using the last bit of the night to do some scrapbooking with it. Guys, guuuuys, I think I'm truly a stamper now. Nevermind the interruption. Back to my layout! (excuse the crappy photo, I just wanted to share my instant joy) (cat-faced for privacy reasons #meow )

My stamp platform arrived! a day earlier than I expected and I tried it out this afternoon. Pretty awesome. It's got a nice heft to it, changing the lid over is very easy, there's no wiggle, no squeaking, and the thick plastic lid part is very strong. I got pretty good results with a really tricky large rubber stamp which did require some CPR stamping and multiple inkings to get a good impression. Perfect results with photopolymer stamps lined up in a masked area. Exactly what I wanted. I hope you all can get your hands on one soon.

Mine arrived today (a day later than expected) and within 15 minutes of delivery I had that baby out of the box and inked up. It's wonderful!!!! Like joblackford said there's no wiggle or squeaking of the lid. It feels like a well made tool in your hands. And it's so easy to change from clear to cling. That's the best! I love the grid in the lid (as opposed to a sticker on the lid). Wait, maybe that's the best! Because the sticker became cloudy and layered with gunk that wouldn't come off. Anyway, it's fabulous and I'm so happy to have it in my hands. Well done, Tonic and TH!

Does anyone notice what might have changed? I'm just curious about the modifications they had to make for the patent.

I ordered the original one from the UK after reading about CraftonlineUK here. I ordered it on the 19th of June and just checked my tracking- 23rd of June today and it has just arrived in Adelaide, South Australia all the way from Glasgow!! It was processed at 7pm so I am keeping my fingers crossed that it may be delivered tomorrow morning which is a Saturday. If not it will definitely be here Monday. I can't wait to use it on 12 x 12 layouts and finally use all the beautiful stamps I own but have been too afraid to use. Corinne

U.S. Peas, if you have received yours, where did you buy it from?

U.S. Peas, if you have received yours, where did you buy it from? I ordered mine off an eBay seller from the UK. I just checked my seller and it appears they are sold out and only offering pre-orders for late July shipping. There are a couple of other UK sellers with in stock inventory but watch the shipping costs. Some are pretty high.

U.S. Peas, if you have received yours, where did you buy it from? I ordered mine from someone on eBay. It was $40 plus $18 shipping. That was the lowest price available at the time, which was about a month ago.

I ordered from Sir Stampalot in the UK. They were in stock and one is on its way to me. Now I just have to wait patiently - that's the hard part.

I'm not sure if I'm visualizing that correctly, but it sounds like a very minor difference, and probably just a cosmetic change.

Hi! I've been around alot but am not a big poster...until today, to say that I also got my TH Stampress! I live in the US, ordered from Sir Stampsalot on ebay, and I was astounded at how fast that thing was shipped to me. Less than a week from the UK to my door..that's record time! I heard the mailman ring my doorbell yesterday and when I saw the "royal mail" sticker on the front of the box, my heart skipped a beat! Many thanks to all here who have been so helpful to those of us who were rather impatiently waiting for this wonderful tool. I hope that this is resolved soon...this is so sad and will definitely come back to bite that MSP woman in the proverbial butt! I always love the feeling when I feel I've "beat the system"!! God Bless!

Mine arrived today. I got it from Craft World in the UK. It was quick shipping until it hit San Francisco and then it sat there for ten days. It wasn't damaged, just a little pokey. Anyway after using it for a day I'm really sold. I agree with all the good things that have been said about it, sturdy, gives a great image with both clear and rubber, and the top grid is great for lining up a stamp. I don't have to deal with foam layers, extra corners, graph paper, and special cleaners anymore. I hope the release happens in July as planned and that you all get to enjoy this tool. It's really worth it.

Is any place still taking pre-orders? One person told me to go to Marco's, but now they are no longer taking pre-orders. I should have ordered sooner.
Is there any other online store taking pre-orders?
