Glenn Kessler - Washington Post Fact Checker on a Buzzfeed story.. "The Pentagon Can't Believe Trump Told Another President About Nuclear Subs Near North Korea buzzfeed.com/nancyyoussef/t… Bragging again I see. His big mouth is going to get us in trouble I think. And in the same conversation, he praised Philippine president Duterte for doing such a good job with their drug problem. Duterte and his thugs have been criticized worldwide for human rights violations in outright murdering Filipinos suspected of selling drugs without due process - upwards of 6,000 people have been killed. And Trump finds this praiseworthy.

Elizabeth Warren... "Trumpcare is devastating for the poor. Seniors. Pregnant women. People w/ pre-existing conditions, mental health & substance use disorders." It occurred to me in reading her tweet what kind of country the Republicans want. If you're listed above you're not wanted. Vox article a paragraph from the CBO "People who are less healthy (including those with preexisting or newly acquired medical conditions) would ultimately be unable to purchase comprehensive nongroup health insurance at premiums comparable to those under current law, if they could purchase it at all — despite the additional funding that would be available under H.R. 1628 to help reduce premiums. As a result, the nongroup markets in those states would become unstable for people with higher-than-average expected health care costs." link

"Tens of thousands gather to hear Obama speak in Berlin: on.msnbc.com/2qZGjeU"
Someone replied " They probably wanted to hear a real president speak."
trump also got people to come out for his visit to Beligum. But to protest him being there.

"Tens of thousands gather to hear Obama speak in Berlin: on.msnbc.com/2qZGjeU" And I'm sure Trump will say that the crowds that came to see him (Trump) were MUCH larger than the crowds that came to see Obama!!

This from Newsweek is just too funny about the great handshake standoff between trump and President Macron of France...
"It's well-documented at this point that President Donald Trump plays an odd game of dominance when he shakes hands—he contorts, jostles and pulls the person he's greeting to make sure he's in charge of the shake. But newly-elected French President Emmanuel Macron seems to have studied the American president and was prepared for Trump's odd handshake tactics Thursday when the two met in Brussels.
While seated, Macron gripped Trump's hand very firmly, and by the end the U.S. president's hand had seemingly gone limp. Trump looked more than ready for his counterpart to let go.
Reporters on the scene noticed. "The two presidents, each wearing dark suits and blue ties (Trump's was thick and royal blue; Macron's was skinny and navy) sat in antique cream-upholstered arm chairs, with two American and French flags behind them," wrote Washington Post reporter Philip Rucker in a pool report. "They shook hands for an extended period of time. Each president gripped the other's hand with considerable intensity, their knuckles turning white and their jaws clenching and faces tightening."
Later when a reporter posted to Twitter that Trump seemed to just want his hand back by the end of the shake, Rucker tweeted, "yep. Trump tried twice to release and Macron held on tight."

From MSNBC...
"Obama in Berlin: "In this new world that we live in, we can't isolate ourselves. we can't hide behind a wall."
It would appear that President Obama just poked trump. And the man is right.

From Politico...
"Angela Merkel showed Trump a map of the old Soviet Union as a warning about Putin's ambitions"
People quit showing trump maps. The only one he wants to see is the 2016 Electoral College map. Surprised he didn't pull it out to show the various leaders on this trip.

OMFG.. We will be lucky if the Constitution is still standing four years from now. I know a few people who voted for Trump because he supposedly respects the Constitution (read that as "second amendment") more than Obama ever did. They continue to defend Trump as he does his best to dismantle the rest of the Constitution. I don't understand how anyone can support this bumbling idiot at this point.

What I don't understand is why the people surrounding him don't jump ship and swim fast and far away from trump.

I didn't think trump would tweet while out of the country. But he did...
"Thank you for your support. Together, we will MAKE AMERICA SAFE AND GREAT AGAIN! #POTUSAbroad #USA🇺🇸"
He is talking about a Rasmussen poll that has his approval rating at 48%. He must have found the only poll that has him above 40%. Five thirty eight and the Gallup polls have him 38-39%. But dream on donnie.
Also notice his hashtag . POTUSAbroad!! Yes donnie, we know where you are.

So many are family members or long term loyalist who have watched Trump's disdain for living up to contractural obligations and believe that he is above the law and answerable to no one. From Kyle @ MSNBC
Some context:
Gallup 39% Fox News 40% Economist/YouGov 40% Reuters/Ipsos 37% Quinnipiac 37% Rasmussen 48%
RCP: bit.ly/2lExe8i
This is in response tontrump's tweet and his 48% approval ratings in Rasmussen's poll. Something is off.

I came to the board to see what the peas have to say about this. I hate the nepotism thing but I thought JK was smart (ish). Not smart enough to fulfill all the roles dumped on him, but not totally under T's thumb, at least not in an overt way. With Ivanka, a possible "brake" on some of the nonsense. I was surprised to read that JK was the outlier amongst DT's inner circle in wanting Comey fired, then wanting a bit of a fiery response to the appointment of Mueller (sp?) as opposed to the neutral/presidential one they put out. The news here (your channels) emphasized that he is not being accused of anything criminal at this stage but still. How on earth can this family still hope to walk away from all of this unscathed, still in office and still in denial? Richer than ever, their brand strengthened and with a second dynastic business in the WH? What parallel universe do we live in?

From AP...
"Authorities: Woman drops purse, 1 hurt in accidental gunshot
45 minutes ago JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Authorities say a woman who dropped her purse inside a medical clinic in Mississippi caused an accidental gunshot that wounded a bystander.
WAPT-TV reports (http://www.wapt.com ) that the woman on the fourth floor of the Lakeland Family Medicine Center in Jackson when she dropped the purse around 11 a.m. Thursday.
Authorities said the gun fired, striking another person who has been hospitalized. The wounded person’s condition wasn’t immediately available.
The station reports that the clinic is affiliated with the University of Mississippi Medical Center."
I guess the good news is the innocent victim was already in hospital when he/she got shot. This is just plain stupid.

Richer than ever, their brand strengthened and with a second dynastic business in the WH? What parallel universe do we live in? Jared Kushner has a different view of 'white collar' crime than the law does. If you read articles about his fathers conviction, you'll find he felt his father was victimized. By newspapers, by his ( thevfathers ) siblings etc All Jared has is a string of excuses for his fathers conviction- it is apparently the fault of the people turning him in and and the people investigating Charles Kushner rather than Charles Kushner for committing the actual crimes. Sound familiar? Here's one article - there are more www.washingtonexaminer.com/byron-york-the-sordid-case-behind-jared-kushners-grudge-against-chris-christie/article/2620427
