The Hill....
"Tillerson: Trump told Russians about Comey to show he won't be "distracted by those things here at home" hill.cm/HoOHBg6"
Really. A Foreign power meddling in our Presidential Election is a distraction?

George Takei...
"Same day they got that arms deal, the Saudis plopped $100mil into Ivanka's charity. Now, will the GOP cry foul like they did with Hillary?"
There won't be a peep uttered from those on the right because "we won".

There won't be a peep uttered from those on the right because "we won". It's already out that Ivanka doesn't "promote" it or work for it (the charity) so it doesn't count. But I'm sure is just a coincidence that Jared intervened with Lockheed asking for discounts, and the Deals with Saudi and the $100 million to Ivanka's "vision"... 🙄

Remember this?
"CREDIT: Facebook “You talk about women and women’s rights. These are people that push gays off business — off buildings. These are people that kill women and treat women horribly, and yet you take their money,” Trump said during the debate. “So I’d like to ask you right now. Why don’t you give back the money that you’ve taken from certain countries that treat certain groups of people so horribly? Why don’t you give back the money. I think it would be a great gesture.”"
The Clinton Foundation has received between $10 million and $25 million from Saudi Arabia. A foundation spokesperson said during the campaign that the foundation did not accept any donations from Saudi Arabia while Clinton was Secretary of State. Trump also accused the foundation of “pay-to-play” schemes during Clinton’s tenure as Secretary of State. He has not, however, spoken about the legal and ethical concerns associated with Ivanka Trump’s World Bank initiative. Since Ivanka works as a senior adviser in the White House, it’s possible that she could be involved with foreign policy decisions relating to the countries that have donated to the fund. It’s not illegal or unprecedented for presidents or their families to engage in philanthropy while in the White House, but such efforts are required to go through a lengthy approval process to ensure that there is no sort of special access or influence given in exchange for donations.

The Trumpkins have picked up the persecution cry ... my uncle posted this gem on FB a bit ago: Apparently this guy was in a coma during the entire Obama administration. You reap what you sow. Simple as that.

From CNN Jim Acosta...
"At a briefing with reporters a WH official said POTUS is "exhausted.""
At his age this probably true. I'm very close to his age and I was reminded, yet again, that things I once did without blinking an eye now can knock me on my buns. In his case, I don't care how many people he has around him to make the trip easier, it's all new to him in strange places and it's done in a short period of time and it does take a toll, even on younger folks , but more so on us older folks. Hillary may been able to handled the exhaustion factor better because she has done this sort of thing numerous times so it wouldn't have been new or different as it is for trump. He probably should have taken a shorter trip this first time around.
Feeling the way I do today I feel for him because he has to keep this up for another 5-6 days.

My readings suggest that Trump is loyal to Trump, and by extension, to anyone who makes him look good. ...UNTIL they no longer do.

Phillip Rucker Washington Post...
"Trump, who’s all about the biggest & the best, was awestruck by Saudi display of riches. Gold and crustal everywhere"
That could very well be true based on pictures of his place at trump towers. My hope is they don't try and recreate that at the White House.

"BREAKING: Flynn's letter to Senate committee cites 'escalating public frenzy' in refusing to turn over records in Russia probe."
Ah what did you expect? That the American people wouldn't care? Maybe if you had stayed the General fired by the Obama Administration the American people wouldn't have cared. But that's not the case now is it so fork over the documents buttercup.

linkFrom AP. Turkey called in our Ambassador in Turkey to bitch about the "treatment" of their security guards by the D.C. Police who were trying to protect the protesters from the Turkish Security Guards. Meanwhile trump has been silent, Tillerton released a wimpy comment, and Diane Feinstein and John McCabe wrote a letter. Why didn't this country drag in the Turkish Ambassador and chew him out as I'm sure our Ambassador was?

It is an absolute outrage that their people attacked our peaceful demonstrators in our own country. I'm disgusted with Trump (yet again) for not demanding apologies and promises that it won't happen again. And that security detail ought to be barred from entering our country again.

Of course the president is tired. Who wouldn't be?
And of course he incessantly ridiculed Hillary Clinton, claiming that she clearly had no stamina and was always home sleeping during the campaign.
And of course armchair neurologists on this very board diagnosed Ms Clinton with debilitating neurological dysfunction because she was helped up some steps one day and she had the nerve to catch pneumonia.
(Methinks somebody is learning that being president does not deliver the constant ego-stroking high one gets from adoring crowds at rallies to whom you just have to mumble half-formed platitudes before you insist on flying back to your own bed. Globe-trotting diplomacy is a lot harder. Ask...I don't know...Hillary Clinton.)

Oops.....
From Newsweek.
REMEMBER THE CARRIER JOBS TRUMP 'SAVED'? COMPANY ANNOUNCES 600 LAYOFFS BEFORE CHRISTMAS BY HARRIET SINCLAIR ON 5/23/17 AT 4:11 PM
A plant where jobs were purportedly saved by Donald Trump ahead of his inauguration is set to make at least 600 staff cuts, many before Christmas.
Carrier had opted in December 2016 not to move a number of jobs to Mexico from its Indianapolis furnace factory, following a visit to the plant by Trump. The president claimed he had convinced Carrier to retain 1,100 jobs in Indianapolis rather than outsourcing them in Mexico. And of those 1,100 jobs Trump spoke of, 300 had reportedly never been threatened with a move to Mexico—meaning a total of 800 jobs had been saved.
But the company has since announced that at least 600 employees at the factory will still be laid off, with the final 290 job cuts coming just ahead of Christmas.
In a filing seen by CNN, the company announced it would be making an initial 338 job cuts in July, four in October and a further 290 jobs on December 22, just three days before Christmas.
During a press conference at Carrier, Trump said: “that big, big beautiful plant behind us… will be even more beautiful in about seven months from now. They're so happy. They're going to have a great Christmas. That's most important.
He added: “And that these companies aren't going to be leaving anymore. They're not going to be taking people's hearts out. They're not going to be announcing, like they did at Carrier, that they're closing up and they're moving to Mexico, over 1,100 jobs.
“And by the way, that number is going to go up very substantially as they expand this area, this plant. So the 1,100 is going to be a minimum number,” he said.
The plant said at the time the number of jobs saved was closer to 800, but explained it would be replacing some of the jobs that were saved with an automated system in order to save money, although CEO Greg Hayes did say there would be less money saved by the company in doing so than if they moved production to Mexico.
Carrier did not immediately respond to Newsweek’s request for comment.

Carrier did not immediately respond to Newsweek’s request for comment. oh gee, now there's a big surprise. I'm sure he (and his followers) will continue to take credit for saving jobs, though. I am very sorry for these workers who are losing their jobs, no matter the timing or cause.

"New Q-poll:
Trump approval: 37-55
54% say he's abusing power
55% say he fired Comey to disrupt Russia probe

This is not good news for trump when 54% says he is abusing his power.

Manu Ragu - CNN Reporter
"Trey Gowdy, senior GOP member of House Intel, downplayed Brennan's testimony, telling me it's not unusual for Russians to contact campaigns"
So TG, if it had been found that Russians had contacted either one of President Obama's campaigns you would shrug it off as no big deal?
Based on your ridiculous Benghazi hearings my guess is a big no.

From a story I was reading about protests in Belgium against trump. "But for the Belgians protesting in the streets on Wednesday, the president was not welcome in their country as long as he continued to push "his war agenda." Belgian trade unionists hold up an anti-Trump banner during a protest against Donald Trump's visit on Wednesday. "He wants Europe to spend more money on war when he should be investing in peace," said Ludo De Brabander, one of the organizers of the demonstration. "If all the EU member states pay two percent of their GDP on military spending, that's billions of dollars that should be spent helping the poor, not investing into a war machine," he added." Dear protestors in Belgium, based on trump's budget he wants that for the US as well. link
