Re Sean Spicer: It seems he needed to get from one area to another by traversing the WH grounds and he learned reporters were waiting on this outside path. He huddled behind some tall hedges with some of his staff, probably to frame his answers, especially since they had already announced there would no statements re Comey last night. Absent an office to duck in, he made do. I think he's a goofball, but I have some amount of sympathy for him. And the Daily Beast likes to leave things out... Moving on: Question: Is a "phony hypocrite" a FAKE hypocrite or, instead, is it a REALLY hypocritical hypocrite - kinda' like, say, a promiscuous prostitute? Where is Spicer, anyway? Still trying to get the evergreen prickles out of his pants?
(I almost feel sorry for him too, just because he has no idea how much of an idiot he appears to be)

My favorite part of the KAC vs. Anderson Cooper last night was KAC telling him he was "looking at the wrong side of the facts." That woman has a way with words.

I have been watching BBC coverage of this and a couple of sound bites stood out.
Huckabee said that this Russian interference has been going on for a year, and everybody was sick of it. {Well yes WE are. so lets get to the bottom of it and come up with a concrete answer. then we can put it to bed. A reasonable person would want the completion of this so the cloud doesn't hang over their presidency- if they were innocent}
Also they replayed the confirmation hearing for Asst Attorney General Rosenstein and he clearly refused to commit to a special prosecutor to investigate Russian meddling in last year's presidential election.
Again a reasonable and innocent person would want this investigation to continue and clear their name.
And Dan Abrams on Good Morning America today: But ABC News chief legal analyst Dan Abrams said appointing a special prosecutor is unlikely and could be problematic.
“The problem there is that, typically, a special prosecutor would be appointed by the attorney general [Jeff Sessions]. In this case, that’s not going to happen. [Sessions] may say he’s even recused from that decision,” Abrams told Stephanopoulos and co-anchor Robin Roberts on “GMA” this morning.
“Then it goes to the deputy attorney general. It’s pretty clear the deputy attorney general isn’t going to order a special prosecutor,” Abrams continued. “So then the question becomes, can Congress put enough pressure on the administration to appoint a special counsel? And that’s going to be a political decision.”
“It seems unlikely at this point that something like that’s going to happen,” he added. “But that’s the way it would occur.
We may be doomed after all.

She appeared on a few of the Sunday morning news shows when they stopped accepting KellyAnne as a WH spokesperson but didn't last long after explaining away Trump's early announcement that he wouldn't attend the White House Correspondents' Dinner with this: Apparently no one in the South had ever said this ever.

From AP... "BREAKING: White House says Trump considered firing FBI Director Comey since `the day he was elected' president." Problem is the trump White House has told soooo many checkable lies how can anyone believe anything that comes out of their collective mouths? And that really is a problem. And if trump was to leave tomorrow the same problem would plague a Pence White House. I'm not buying for a second Pence doesn't know everything that is going on. The point (and facts is) that he didn't (fire him).

More from that Quinnipiac Poll. This poll was done prior to him firing Comey. I guess it could be worse.
"A Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday asked respondents: "What is the first word that comes to mind when you think of Donald Trump?" The most common responses — "idiot," "incompetent," and "liar" — did not reflect well on the president, whose approval ratings from the same poll are near record lows. The most common words were: 1. "Idiot," 39 times 2. "Incompetent," 31 times 3. "Liar," 30 times 4. "Leader," 25 times 5. "Unqualified," 25 times 6. "President," 22 times 7. "Strong," 21 times 8. "Businessman," 18 times 9. "Ignorant," 16 times 10. "Egotistical," 15 times Other popular ones were "a------," "stupid," "arrogant," "trying," and "bully."

So unsurprising that neither Trump nor his supporters can comprehend that some of us can hold more than one idea in our head. We can be upset and frustrated that Comey's actions helped cost Hillary the presidency, and we can be outraged that Trump has now fired THREE people who just happened to be investigating him for colluding with the Russians. And we can be both of those things AT THE SAME TIME, because they are unrelated except that James Comey happens to be part of both of them. Fancy that. Whoa. Mind = Blown

Didn't Mr. Trump coin "Drain the swamp" as an exhortation to rid DC of entrenched politicians? Seems he's just using it now as an exhortation to rid DC of all Democrats. I simply cannnot understand believing this man is good for our country or our way of life. #CircletheDrain (A girl can hope, right?)

" US photographers barred from Lavrov meeting. Russian govt brings cameras and a whole kit bag of electronic equipment. Into the Oval."
Russians bringing "a bag of electronic equipment" into the Oval Office.
Security risk maybe? You know trump's pettiness toward US media could get us in a boat load of trouble.

Now WH officials are alarmed and claimed the Russian entourage LIED to them about who the photographer worked for. The Russians lied, can you imagine? Who the hell is in charge of the security in the WH? It continues to look like amateur hour there.

From FB: Donald,
You should not have run for president.
If you hadn't you could have lived the rest of your life continuing to be that creepy rich guy who sexually assaults women between golf games.
Now you'll ultimately be known as that dumb and emotionally unstable president who finally went to jail when he obstructed the FBI investigation into his election corruption crimes.

Rosenstein just interrupted the Senate Intelligence Committee's meeting to ask for a meeting. Warner and Burr stepped out for a meeting they needed to be at right away.
This is kind of interesting.

He is just a petty man. He really is..
"Russia must be laughing up their sleeves watching as the U.S. tears itself apart over a Democrat EXCUSE for losing the election."
"We finally agree on something Rosie."
This in response to a tweet Rosie O'Donnell did in October saying Comey should be fired. This is just not normal.

From Politico....
"Defending the sudden firing of FBI director James Comey, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Thursday that President Donald Trump “expects people who are serving in his administration to be loyal to the country and to be loyal to the administration.”
Dear KellyAnne, There are certain parts of the government that aren't expected to be loyal to trump. You dimwit the FBI is one of them. Their loyalty is the American people not some crackpot that sits in the Oval Office. The United States is not trump's private fiefdom.
