I signed my parents' marriage license. They were married for 32 years, divorced for 14 and then remarried. My brother and I were the best man and matron of honor, therefore signing the license as witnesses.

Here are a few that I can think of: I was an exchange student in Sweden for a year. Shook hands with/met the King and Queen of Sweden Biked around an island for a week on tandem bikes. Hiked on a glacier in Norway. Have driven from New England to California, up the coast of California and back (with a stop in Florida both ways ).

I remember having milk delivered in glass bottles and licking the cream from the caps Aww, they don't do that in England anymore? We had that and I remember the special foil caps made for Charles and Diana's wedding!

OH! I forgot a couple! When I was in 8th grade, I was on a tour with my church choir group. We did a musical and I sang a solo on the steps of the capitol building in Washington D.C.. I also climbed the steps of the Statue of Liberty into her crown.

I wrote a book (that was published, not self-published). I taught watercolour lessons in France. I interviewed April Cornell on the phone (she's a clothing designer, one of my faves from my younger years, and I'll probably wear her clothing again in another 20 years or so). I made human embryonic stem cells glow in the dark (well, fluoresce...).

I've been parasailing. In St. Thomas. With my sister. It was fun!
I've sat in my back yard and watched the Northern Lights.
I had my tonsils out when I was a child, and one grew back.

I have flown in a police helicopter several times. I swam with dophins. I've been to the Bahamas, St. John, St. Thomas, Puerto Rico, St. Kitts, the Dominican Republic, St. Barts, Nevis, Barbados, Aruba, Cancun, Cozumel, Honduras, Belize, Grand Cayman, and Jamaica. I've done a ride-along with a police officer. I've parasailed. I did the Temple of Doom slide in the Bahamas.

I went skydiving with my just barely 18-year-old son. And am making plans to go with the son that was too young last time. I have served as my daughter's doula each time she has given birth. Will get to do it again before the end of the year. I spent a year living and working in Yellowstone Park. Such great memories from that time! Great idea for a thread, OP!

April Cornell lives in my area/city and has her headquarters here. They just had their sidewalk sale here (at their Flagship store), I bet you would have loved it. Her company has gone through some major ups and downs and I am glad to see that she has persevered. edited to add: Well maybe you would love it in about 20 years. Sorry I misread your post to say that you have been wearing her clothing for 20 years.

Her company has gone through some major ups and downs and I am glad to see that she has persevered. Very cool! Yes, it was sad to learn about their company's financial problems (I had heard it was due to a poorly-behaving CEO that they turned the company's operations over to), and their widespread store closures. I worked at La Cache for several years, back when I rocked dreadlocks and floral overalls.

I edited my above post. I read your original post incorrectly...I thought you said you have been wearing her stuff for 20 years...sorry! Most of her stuff is bit to floral(ly) for me, but some of her home furnishings are okay. I like to check out the Clearance stuff.

I watched the 4th of July fireworks from one of the Twin Towers when I was younger. It was A-MAZ-ing.
Nothing as exciting as the rest of you guys, but it was a once in a lifetime experience!
