Today was our last meeting locally. They've closed it down because they didn't have a receptionist. Apparently Weight Watchers requires them to have 2 people there although they've had a meeting with one in the past.
the next closest meeting is 45 minutes away but there are about 6-7 meeting times.
This is the first time I've done this that I've lost consistently every week for 2.5 months. Ever. In my whole life. I'm really upset right now because I feel like if I don't go to the meeting, I might get off kilter AGAIN. On the other hand, I'm really not following the WW plan all that much and they aren't telling me anything at the meetings I don't already know. Hell, I could run the damn meeting myself but apparently I'm way too fat for that job. sigh.
Would you drive the 45 miles or would you just try to do it at home?
They said they MIGHT try to get it started back up in January.

I did WW online because the closest meeting was about 35 mins away and it was just too far for me to drive. Is it possible to kind of have an informal WW meeting with the same people? Find a place close and just meet up? I know it's not quite the same but having the accountability of other people may help.

I didn't think about that. There is a local TOPS I think. I could just do my weigh ins there.

I think that a good meeting group can make a big difference. I was really sad the last time I moved because I lost a great meeting group and I do.not.like. any of my options where I am now. So I would at least go check out the other meeting options if I could, and then you'll at least know whether you like the meeting group or not.
In the meantime, you might enroll online, either just for etools or get the one that lets you go to meetings, too. See how that works for you. And if you live where the weather gets sucky in the winter, you'll at least have a contingency option if you can't make it out to those far away meetings.

I did a meeting that was 50 minutes away. Made a day of it, went shopping and out to lunch. I needed the accountability of meetings.
