Our area FB Buy, Sell, and Trade page cracks me up on a daily basis. So much going on here... I *think* it's the Bumbo seat that is for sale here. You have to *realllly* want to see it. Does anyone need any "Nik naks?!" She's wanting $80 for this backpack. I then posted this link and asked if this was the same backpack.

I want the backpack.
Signed,

(but I want her to give it to me. Because we Gator fans should take care of each other. Gator Nation and all that. LOL)

Heee! I grew up in Orlando, so I know what you mean! She wants $20 more for it than you could order it online at Dicks.

These are funny! I always wonder why people bid almost the new price for stuff on eBay. I think it is the thrill of the hunt. So much stuff, so little time! I wish the guy in the first picture was modeling the nightie.

Oh I LOVE our BST pages.
They are a huge source of entertainment for my circle of friends. We frequently take screen shots of the crazy stuff and send them to each other throughout the day.

I'm hoping that you're just not aware that this is a super offensive phrase. Just in case, though... It's a super offensive phrase. I'd eliminate it from your vocabulary. ETA: I see myshelly beat me to it. It's still not okay, though.

The armpit hair and the dress wwwww. Also what gives with the black picture? I mean I can't see it at all. Was there something in there?
Our local buy, sell and trade page had a woman wanting to auction something off. After that I left. Too much junk.

Someone posted on our sites recently asking $50 for a non-working Keurig and $35 each for two non-working Bluray players.

I tell everyone that Swap Shop is a beacon for "stupid people gather here". The dumbass questions you get asked EVERY DAY.
On the other hand, I've made like $1000 this past couple months off of stupid people.

Funny you should post this because I was just reading one to DH that was posted in our area.
A guy has his (very pretty) wife holding up a mounted deer head and the description says:
Nice rack for sale. Not too big or too small. Fits almost anywhere. Great to look at. Nice hide for its age. I'll miss it when it's gone.
I can appreciate good sexual innuendo. And I especially appreciate that he used "sale" correctly instead of sell.

Ours are funny to. There was a phone listed and it was in perfect condition except for a cracked (shattered) screen. Lol. Or the vintage dining set in perfect condition with just a few tears and stains lol it looked like a cheap set when new but they were asking $200 for it I think the phone was $100.
Really. If something is ripped, broken and had a bunch of stains it is trash.
I have to admit the dress picture cracked me up to. People on these sites want a good deal. They want new items for pennies on the dollar at least when I posted stuff.

Wow. Umm, you know we (we being acceptable, polite society) don't use racial slurs like that anymore, right? You know Im jewish right? I don't care that you are Jewish - that is hands down the most offensive comment I've read on this board to date. You are the first Jewish person that I've ever heard use this phrase - and considering I'm Jewish, raised in a Jewish part of Los Angeles, active in synagogue, visit my sister in Israel regularly, I know a ton of Jewish people. I've never heard one of them utter this phrase, ever. I never thought is would do it here at this board, but I did report your post.

I love our board on fb for this reason. There was one lady who had a picture of a loft bed for sale. It was awful. The bed didn't have sheets on it, you could see the mattress was filthy, but there was bedding on it, so someone was still sleeping there. The desk was piled high to the bottom of the bed, the floor was a disaster and piled up with garbage and junk. It said "bought this at walmart for $140, asking $130 cuz it's still good and the mattress doesn't go with it though, and also you have to take it apart, will take the stuff off it for you". lol
I thought that going to walmart and forking over the extra $10 was a better deal than that! she bumped it up for days but it appears to be gone now.

People sell broken stuff online and when you ask, then they add that they are selling said item "for parts."
