warrior1991 , I am impressed that you are working on a book, and that you work best with noise! Impressive! Alex came to play and brought a donut with him. I took a photo of HIM for Him #18. Him by Nylene Budge, on Flickr Then after our meeting last night we stopped and picked a dozen of our own. For #22 Yum. Photos aren't quite 24 hours apart, but close. Yum by Nylene Budge, on Flickr

I've missed a few days, but I wanted to show you my hairdresser's place. The owner painted this by herself free hand. (I am told) We have dozens of murals all over town. I would like to do a project of taking pics of all of them.

@elaynef, that building is amazing. You have lots of painted buildings in your town? How artsy and fun! We have a long low wall along a hill and at one time children were each given a 16x16 inch space to decorate. I loved their artwork! But people complained that it wasn't classy enough and after a while it was all painted over. Makes me sad!

I've gotten off track already but I've enjoyed all the pictures you lovely ladies are sharing and I'm glad you're keeping up with your photo a day project. You can jump in any time to catch up. If you need to take a few in one day, or post a few you took on different days, that would work. Or just start today and finish off the month with one pic per day.

Day 8, feet Don't laugh at my craft room carpet. The upstairs of my house is still stuck in the 70s. I can't afford to update it at this time. These are my feet. Yes, they are sock covered. They are always sock covered. I am NEVER barefoot. I hate being barefoot. I do wear sandals occasionally to church or fancy things, but they hurt my feet, so I'm more comfortable in sock and tennis shoes.

Here's today's photo for Prompt number 9-favorite! This is my favorite place for a nap! It is quiet on our enclosed porch as it is on the back of our house. I have a hard time napping but I never have trouble if I snuggle into this one! Favorite # 9 Prompt by Cindy Blair, on Flickr Oh by the way nylene those stepping stones were bought at a garden center in 1987! They have been there a long time and I still love them! We just weed whack around them. I love the photo of Alex with that donut! I actually go after the donut the same way Alex does! And don't you love Krispy Kremes? Also I tyoo can not get up in front of a group of adults without anxiety. I used to do ssummer bible school at the church we went to at the time. The worst part of the entire week was getting up in front of the congregation and telling them abut our week!

8. Feet Well, just my foot. I took this photo to show how muddy it was on the walking trails at our favorite nature preserve today...little did I know how muddy it was ahead at the time! DD and I got caught in some thunderstorms and downpours so the trails REALLY got sloppy as the afternoon progressed. LOL...I took photos of alligators, feral piglets, snakes, raccoons, insects and hawks.. and I'm posting a photo of my dirty feet and mud. The trail ahead just for fun..

Sounds like you got some great photos though! Thanks for sharing this with us! We did 4.2 miles today total ( we keep track for dd's online PE class)..and I forgot my sneakers because we went to the orthodontist and mall first..so 4.2 in flip flops since we were already there. I was slipping and sliding all over the place! Lucky I didn't fall on my butt.

Day 9, Favorite I was going to take a picture of my favorite breakfast which is French Vanilla cappuccino. But when I looked outside my office door, this became my favorite. It's arts and crafts day at Meyerhofer Construction. LOL!! All the technology in the world and in a jam it is easier and faster to print out patterns and tape them together to then draw onto the steel. Definitely a favorite.

warrior1991, I love your socks! I can't go barefoot. My feet are always cold so I wear shoes from the time I get up until I take them off for bed. Had to chuckle at the photo of the men taping paper together for their patterns. We do all kinds of things in a pinch. scrapincin, I can see that you could have a very nice nap there. So comfy. betty, what a muddy mess. Two of our granddaughters are at Girls Camp and I understand it's like that all over. They will be filthy when they get home tomorrow! BTW, I want to see alligator photos! @elaynef, I got so engrossed in your town's website. I think I read everything on there. Now I want to visit. The chances of my ever getting to Texas again are pretty slim, however. Thanks for the info! I love the caboose waste receptacles! grammadee, looks like no planting to be done today in the rain. It will help your new little plants though. I haven't decided what to photograph today. I guess I'll have to put on my thinking cap.

I'm a day behind. Again! Day 8 Alright, I'm going to show my own face. Just this once. I'll probably take it down in a day or so. I needed a black and white selfie for my Project Life. Ended up playing it a bit coy, ahem. Nevermind the werewolf shoulder! I promise that's just some of my "head hair" that had been blown over by the breeze. (promptless)Day 9 The potted plants were sneakily kissing in the shadow... #SoFrench (Prompt n. 14 "Shadow")

So many great photos! Just to highlight a few: sleepingbooty , I LOVE that artsy selfie! And betty , that bird photo is amazing! It's raining here again today, so not very conducive to going for walks, or even indoor photography! I decided to go with the OLD prompt. My mother passed away when I was a child. Many years later, one of my aunts handed me a little cotton bag she had kept for me. Inside was my mother's wedding dress (which she made for herself at the age of 19), and several embroidered pieces, some with crocheting on them. This is a doily my mother made. It has to be over 60 years old, since she has been gone that long... Attachments:

I was messing around on trip advisor and looked at our forum. Not much there, maybe 1 question a year, but 1 was complaining about no bike trails and drivers honking and trying to scare them. Someone told them to "take their bad attitude back where they came from"! We do have a really nice hike and bike trail now and there are lots of them at the state park, too, if you are good with the heat.

Ok, sleepingbooty, you are just teasing us. I want to see the rest of that beautiful face. Love the black and white plants and shadows. Very artsy. scrapincin, I love your trellis. Those peas look delicious. Angie's were just ready to eat while we were there in May. They are much slower here, but I love them raw. I can't believe how beautiful that bird photo is. You need to add it to your collage of photos. betty, what a beautiful photo, both of the bird and the beauty of the water. grammadee, I love that doily. What a treasure. Her crocheting around the edge is so tight and pretty. It almost looks like tatting. Her embroidery is lovely too. Thanks for sharing the photo and the story! You need to scrap it. My grandchildren will be here in a couple of hours and I want my looking down photo to be of them coming up the stairs. I did a "favorite" yesterday and will post the two together.

Great photo of the little bird, scrapincin 10. Looking down. First time I have ever seen one of these so I had to take a photo and then come home and look it up. So what did you find out? It is a "hammerhead" worm (Bipalium). They eat earthworms in a very gory way by sliming them with enzymes that turn the earthworms to goo.

Good morning! Yes that worm sure is grose! grammadee-I totally love that doily! I am sure she enjoyed making it with those sweet flowers on it! My grandmother used to tat and I have a few of her hankies she tatted the lace on the edge. Not sure what the difference there is between tatting and hand crocheted lace. They are both beautiful to me. @ Nylene- thanks for your comment on the trellis. We got that last year on sale at Lowe's. That is one of my favorite places to go window shop!
