Hi Bachelorette fans, I've only watched the limo's arrive so I haven't seen all the crazies yet. I think Rachel is beautiful. Who's watching?
ETA: Please NO spoilers from websites like Reality Steve. Only spoilers from episodes that have aired!!

Slowly raising my hand. l tell myself it's only because there's nothing else on to watch but to tell the truth... I'm not so secretly addicted. (As bad as my husband hates it.)

So far I've only seen the introductions, haven't seen the Limos arrive. Soon! I agree that Rachel is gorgeous. And I think this season has a record number of attorneys!

What the HELL is up with WhaBoom? No. Just no.
And I see they're already setting the country singer up to be the "Corinne" style villain. And of course there will be a bloody fight.
LOL
This show. SMH

I never watch this show but since they finally decided to have a black bachelorette I was so excited I'm watching this season! I noticed they had a lot of attorneys. I get the feeling that she is going to pick a white guy. Her sister is married to a white guy and the black guys seemed to get roses last. I thought for sure Josiah would have gotten the first rose. What was up with Milton, the hotel guy, crying when he was given the boot?! OMG I didn't want to believe that was real but if it was any normal man wouldn't want to be seen on camera crying. For him to say he was dressed the best and bought all new outfits for this show, well I had to laugh. I think men's fashion is more appreciated by other men. I was surprised she picked Kenny, didn't think she'd be into a boxer with a 10-year old child. I'm so curious about the clip where they showed he gotten into a fight and had a bloody face, would have thought he'd be on the flip side.
I thought Blake was so charming when he was rejected, smiled and wished her the best. Is he cheesing hoping to be the next Bachelor? I just couldn't believe he took rejection so well! I think she kept her hometown Fred on just to be polite, she's an attorney and he's an executive assistant. I was taken aback by the kiss, I wouldn't be into that, but I wonder if being on the show means you have to be open to everything. Mohit seemed interesting when they showed the clip with his family, but on the show he acted really weird. Then I thought would his Indian family accept him marrying a dark-skinned black woman?

Whaboom guy has clearly given himself brain damage with all that head shaking. Hopefully he won't last long
Fred was a pity rose
Josiah's a little too full of himself for my liking
the guy who kissed her - I don't personally find him attractive but I can see why she thinks he's charming. But it looked to me like he was trying to eat her face, and that was one heck of a wet, noisy kiss!

As for the crying after getting the boot,I think some of the emotion comes from exhaustion, the Rose Ceremonies are known for lasting all night long. I noticed that the exit interviews were during daylight hours, so they had probably been up all night long.

Just finished watching. I agree that it seems like she has a nice bunch of guys ~ for the most part. I don't know his name but I hope vacuum guy went home. And did ABC make her keep the obnoxious Lucas? I hope so. Looks like we're in for lots of drama ~ big surprise, right?

I noticed that the exit interviews were during daylight hours, so they had probably been up all night long. Good catch! It does seem like she picks guys she barely had time to speak to, but if it lasted for hours, then she really did make an informed choice of people we never saw her speaking with. Shoot I wonder how she knows everyone's name and where to look when giving out the roses. I kept thinking maybe the roses had their names printed on a tiny paper attached but I didn't see it. I also wondered if they interrupted the rose ceremony to video interview the guys to get their thoughts mid-way through.

How many of us are the person we were in 3rd grade?

I think that the Bachelor and Bachelorette are given their choice for a certain number of roses and the producers claim/have say over a certain number. That is why the definite drama people - Graham, Corinne, guy from 3rd grade, wha-boom guy - are kept on for so long for season after season.

I am waiting for DH to go to bed so I can finally sit down and watch. I have to say Nick turned me off. I just couldn't get into that season at all. I would have it playing in the background and not even be paying attention. But I wanted to wait this week until I could stay up late after everyone went to bed and watch it so I waited until tonight. I have to wait up late for my DD to get home anyway. So I'll report back after I watch.

I find nothing appealing about the whaboom guy. I agree with elaine that I think they actually force them to keep some of these people.

I just can't take an entire season of "WHAAABOOOOOM". How on earth does he think he's being entertaining or enlightened? Does he just not see how annoying he is? I like Rachel. Some of the men seemed very sincere. Of course, the villains and the infighting among the guys makes it fun to watch. Looking fwd to an entertaining season.

How is "tickle monster" a career?!? Doctor was clearly not good enough. Whaboom is definitely a "producer pick." Some of the guys who are playing up a character are trying to get on Bachelor in Paradise (or the winter version this year). Rachel is a friend of a friend - always fun to have that one degree of separation. I knew people who knew Andi also - we are in the same sorority.

I'm watching this season, I think there are a lot of good picks! Right now my favorite is the wrestler with the daughter, he seems so genuine and sweet. Not sure he's Rachel's type though

Whaboom is working my last nerve. Interesting that the other guy knew him before the show and i would have no problem believing that he's just there to build a tv career. Isn't that the truth for a lot of people that do this show?
I'm loving Peter so far. He didn't interest me at limo night but his personality has really come out on the one on one. I missed the story of how her dog broke his leg though?

Whaboom is annoying. I loved how Ashton would not say Whaboom and seemed annoyed by him as well.
And the guy with the girlfriend. But of course, he has returned to try to talk to her before the rose ceremony. I was applauding her for not putting up with his bull, and I hope she doesn't let him back in.
I like the wrestler/dad guy too. He seems mature and ready to settle down.
But Rachel seems REALLY into Peter!

You're right -- there is no way that any bachelor/bachelorette can remember everyone's name on the first night. They actually take numerous breaks during the filming of the rose ceremony -- she will call, say five names, and then they take a break (and she goes back to her list and memorizes the next five names) and then she calls another five or so names. One of the many reasons why the first night takes so long!

My collection of thoughts from the first two episodes:
I enjoyed watching her 1-on-1 with Peter.
Dean really surprised me in a good way during her group date. I was really unsure about him after his initial appearance at the after the final rose.
Unlike Rachel, I am not a big fan of Bryan. He seems smarmy to me, not sexy.
I did not appreciate the unnecessary and obviously set up drama with DeMario and thought it was refreshing to see Rachel's evident frustration with producers about this type of drama that she didn't want.
