Its literally a rehash of October Afternoon. While I miss OA - I was hoping he could put a different spin on it.

Could find a use for some of these papers, since I live in a house with a Country Kitchen. Afraid I never looked like the skinny apron lady, though.
I would really like those word dies. They tell the story of my life.

OMG I need this line. A girlfriend of mine just made a recipe album for a bridal shower gift and that gave me the kick to want to make one and I haven't started other than typing out the recipes but this would be so perfect.

I like more of the B sides than the A sides, but the few B sides that I don't like have A sides that I do like, so it all works out. I like that the 6x6 pad is double sided (for the choices and for the thicker paper), and I might actually pay full price for this one.
I'd love for this thread to descend into a "what will you do with your chicken paper?" thread. I plan to use the orange chicken paper with some some photos of us out for breakfast.

I literally live in the middle of the city, but I need that one big farm scene paper.
And I'll probably hoard it since I love it but have no use for it.

I just wish it wasn't exactly OA. Even the lady is the same. I think he could have stayed true to what he does, and given it some variety. When I look at this, I think about the OA that I have already that is the same.

I love it, and what I love best is that I can mix it with the OA I have! That chicken paper is just the best!

Don't really do country, so it doesn't work for me. Now, if someone would design "middle-income city kitchen" - you know, medium-end appliances, niceish-techish faucet, island w/high-backed metal stools, etc., that I'd buy.

Ooh like it. Colors are a little to pinky in some spots, but enough stuff about gardening that could work for me.
I keep buying all food-kitchen-domestic related kits. Need to make some cards!

Erm. Is no one going to ask lilacgal about her metal chicken called Beyoncé? Or does everyone know about this chicken already? Am I the only one dying to know more? EXCUSE ME. Please tell me it's a real chicken you called Beyoncé and that moves her head like she's at a hardrock concert...

Please tell me it's a real chicken you called Beyoncé and that moves her head like she's at a hardrock concert... 😂 You mean everyone doesn't have a metal chicken named Beyoncé? Six years ago (2011), I stumbled upon a blog post by The Bloggess. To avoid an argument about towels, she bought a five foot tall metal chicken which she and her friend named it Beyoncé Then she put it on her doorstep for her husband to discover. She said it was an anniversary gift - fifteen years is a giant metal chicken. I read that post out loud to my husband, and we both died laughing. Hubby then put in out joint calendar that June 29, 2017 was our Giant Metal Chicken anniversary. Years rolled by and we celebrated that anniversary a few weeks ago. While I couldn't find an affordable giant metal chicken (those suckers are expensive!), I did find one about three months ago that is about a foot and half tall. I immediately bought her, named her Beyoncé, and hid her under my scrapbook desk because I knew he'd never look there. Needless to say, Beyoncé was a hit as an anniversary gift. She is going to have some felt added to her feet so we can display her proudly in our living room. I plan on dressing her up for holidays. Last night, my daughter put a blanket around her "because Beyoncé looked cold." That chicken paper is a must own because Beyoncé will most definitely have her story told in our albums! Aside from hunting for years for a metal chicken for this express purpose, I have no interest in chicken decor. She totally doesn't match anything but will be a conversation piece for sure! I never thought I'd see chicken scrapbook paper and immediately go, "I must have that!"

It really does look just like OA. A couple of years ago I bought a mixed pack of about 100 OA papers from some online store. I still have a lot of those papers. I like them but I am just not sure I will need this.
