My siblings and I had different Peanuts lunchboxes with matching Thermos bottle. I think mine was Snoopy but I can't remember for sure.

I had a metal lunchbox shaped and painted like a barn. Little animals and all. Brown bag by 3rd grade because I was always forgetting my lunchbox.

Sadly, we used a brown lunch sack.

Nothing. My mom was that mom who wouldn't spend "good money for something you'll hate in a year." I had a red plaid one or carried a brown paper lunch bag.

My mom hated characters so we were not allowed to have them - on clothing, on posters, on folders, on lunchboxes, etc. She would be a force in a "character clothing" debate thread.
So I had a pink plaid lunchbox.

I had a Star Wars lunchbox. Strange for a girl, but I loved it. Used it all through elementary school until it was cooler to use a brown lunch bag.
ETA - It was a metal one so it stood the test of time. The thermos broke probably the first year. But that little lunchbox lasted and lasted.

Strawberry Shortcake (metal), My Little Pony (until someone stole it) and then Alvin and the Chipmunks and then I was too cool for lunch boxes (5th grade) and moved onto brown bags.

Everyone in my school ate lunch in the cafeteria. No one and I do mean NO one brought lunch from home.

I had a Bee Gees lunchbox. It was one of those holographic type things that would change the pic when you held it a different way. It was badass.

Snoopy. I had a plastic one at one point with a barrel lid that held a Thermos and a metal one at some other point. Then my mother bought me one of those Tupperware lunch systems and I had a sad.

I had a Scooby Doo lunch box that I loved. It was the old school metal ones.

The only one I vividly remember was yellow plastic and it had a picture of Miss Piggy on a motorcycle on the front of it. No idea what was going through my 8-year-old head when I picked that one out!!

My very first lunchbox - it was metal - was Sesame Street and it had a school scene on it. In the picture, one of the characters had a lunchbox sitting on their desk that had the same scene on it, so there were increasingly smaller and smaller versions of the school scene repeated over and over. I loved that lunchbox and now that I've typed this all out, I'm thinking that might have been the beginning of my weirdness!

I didn't have a lunchbox. If I didn't eat the cafeteria food I went home for lunch. We only lived a block from the school.

I know I had a metal lunchbox with a thermos, but not sure I can remember what was on it. Donny and Marie comes to mind. Mostly brown bagged it.

My first lunchbox was a Partridge Family one. When I decided that was too immature I got a red plaid one...a popular choice, apparently!

I seem to remember a metal Holly Hobbie lunchbox at one point. I'm pretty sure I had a Scooby Doo in there somewhere too.
