I'm ordering a tag punch. Do the demonstrator's get credit? Not sure how it works, but I don't want to randomly select if I can help someone.

Can I hijack this thread because I am going to a stamping up party in a few weeks.
What is some of your favourite stampin up products. I have thousands of scrap stuff and have been scrapping for 10 years but don't have any stampin up.

Their chalks are nice too. A lot of people love the SU punches, I don't have those because I can cut stuff like that with my cutter.

They don't sell chalk anymore. mandolyn9909, do you want some recommendations for things you can use in scrapping or for some things to try out stamping? (In either case, I think that their rhinestones are some of the sparkliest you can find, right up there with actual swarovskis.)

That would be a great place to start especially since you're attending a party later this month. This is a great time to start thinking about holiday home decor, gifts or cards if that's what you like to make.

I LOVE the project life cards from stampin up. The quality is unbeatable and there is no duplicates in the designs. The little accessories packs are great too. I also really liked the project life stamp sets they have. Great quality , stamped a perfect image the 1st time. I have bought 3 of the project life sets and I find I reach for them over any other PL set I have. They also have 4x4 cards which I love because it adds variety without sacrificing the 4x6 photo slots. And the price point makes it so you can get two of the stampin up sets for the cost of one core kit and you end up with a lot more variety. And the storage boxes are great.
Sorry to drag on but I found these a few weeks ago just browsing the SU site and could not believe no one is talking about it. I just love them. Finally brought back some mojo to my PL album.

Could use a good grey one for journalling.

I don't do Project life but I like using the cards to scrapbook with.

I've been using my PL cards in my Erin Condren Life Planner. Sometimes I need extra space to write. Choosing one of the PL cards & clipping it onto the page is just the right amount of space I need to finish writing items. It's not too big or bulky.

I'm not a demonstrator, but I've been hearing good things about the Stampin Up paper trimmer lately, so that's on my wish list. I'm always in the market for a new one.

I became a demonstrator last year (mostly for the discount), but I thought since I had blog friends and also a few scrappy friends, it wouldn't be *that* hard to make the quota. I've only had ONE small sale, and it was to someone that I didn't know, through the website, LOL!! I believe my time is nearly up though. I will agree that the products have really come a long way, especially the ink pads and the clear stamps. I really like their framelits and embossing folders, too. One of my favorite products is their heat-n-stick powder. Their new PL stamp sets are some of my most used lately. Everyone has raved about the Blendabilities pens, but I haven't tried them ... I'm still playing around with my Distress Markers! I am pretty choosy about what I like and spend money on, and I can honestly say that in the last couple of years, SU has really grown, changed and moved with the tide of the industry (modernized) and impressed me with the quality of their products.

I purchased the Stampin' Trimmer prior to becoming a Demonstrator. I can honestly say it's the nicest trimmer I've purchased & I've purchased many. It's easy to use, portable, & it cuts straight lines. You don't need to be a scrapbooker or card maker to have a need for a trimmer. I think everyone needs a trimmer just for general use.

I'm a demo...obviously not a good one lol...but I love hearing the review of the trimmer. I have been wondering how it compares to the fiskars surecut.
