I hate to go to the store to shop but I'm needing to buy some of the decorative gift boxes and think Target will be the best source. I've scoured online and there are a handful of sets but I think I'd rather see them in person if I can to decide plus all the online sets come with 10 to 16 pieces and I only need 4 so I'd like a smaller set.
I'm having surgery in mid-November and will be super busy training my temp worker for work so I really need to be done with the holiday prep no later than October 15th to 31st. I'm also in just one of those get it done moods and I already have the gifts to go in the boxes so I'm looking forward to getting it done!!
God, did I mention I hate to go to stores!!

It's not even Halloween at my Target yet.
I went there Sunday with a friend soecificly to look at the fall/Halloween section and there wasn't one. It's still back to school.
Joann's, Michael's, and Hob Lobs all had Christmas up though.

It will be by Oct 13th for sure! Yah, I just don't want to wait that long. For some reason, I have this intense feeling of need to be done for the holiday super early. That urge hasn't hit me in a number of years but it is a good thing.

If it isn't, it will be soon. I look forward to taking my annual Hallo-thanks-mas picture soon. Target is the best for arranging all three on one department.

It is full on Christmas at Hobby Lobby here. But that is the only place I have noticed already.

My Tuesday Morning started putting out their Christmas stuff last week-- I bought some wrapping paper, but they had the holiday decorative boxes as well. They also have other non-holiday specific boxes, but I bought one of those a couple of weeks ago for my sister for Christmas because it's a good shape.

Yeah, echoing those above, definitely try craft stores--not Target--if your goal is to complete it now.

Another vote for craft stores. I was at a Target Monday and they were still in back to school mode there. Not even Halloween yet.

Halloween started yesterday at our Target. Costco, on the other hand, has a tiny bit of Christmas stuff.

I was at Target yesterday, and they are only just starting to set up Halloween as they clearance Back To School. No Christmas yet.

I was at Target yesterday and that section was weirdly empty. I must have caught them at that magic, rare time between stockings. I could see huge boxes of Halloween stuff waiting to be unpacked though.

I work for the manufacturing co. that makes all the boxes and displays for Target. Halloween is long over and Christmas is in full swing. Imagine a HUGE warehouse with all this cardboard from floor to ceiling for Christmas displays, gift boxes, gift card holders, plackards for games, small appliances and other gifts. It is very overwhelming right now.

It is full on Christmas at Hobby Lobby here. But that is the only place I have noticed already. This is what I was going to suggest too. Seems like they always get their holiday junk out the quickest. I was just in Michael's yesterday and they're full on Halloween right now. They didn't even have all the price labels on the shelf pegs yet. Our Target doesn't even have Halloween up yet, but I bet that will change within another week or so.

I was in my Target yesterday and they were just getting Halloween set up. Hobby Lobby has a ton of their Christmas stuff out and has for weeks.
