Oh darn, I really like the mini kit and the bright colours. Ali’s handwriting is notably absent.

I love the album and her mini kit, but I can’t do those prices. Especially now.

ALL the primary colours! And black and white! My eyes! This is way too bold and visually stimulating for me and would take all focus away from my photos. But I do think Kiley did a good job with the kit except for the day cards where the blobs of colour are just overload (IMO, they do work as a pattern on the 3x4 cards).

I think it’s cool that the kit is so different and they finally had a guest designer. I’m glad people like it and hope everyone enjoys what they get. That being said my first impressions is that the kit is not for me. I don’t love the colors or the fonts. I like the smaller embellishments. I like the chipboard asterisks, and may try to snag them. I also think it’s product overload. Very overwhelming! Is the “mini kit” her thing now? I could definitely make my own kit from past kit leftovers and stamps. I’m at a point that I don’t want to buy anything else unless I absolutely love it.
I reserve the right to change my mind once I see the products in use lol.

I don’t know if I will get anything, but it is nice to see a “fresher” take on the products. It may not be for everyone, but I don’t think we can call this release boring. But her prices...wow!!

This. I couldn't agree more. Just the fresh approach is so nice! I may or may not purchase but instead of seeing the kit(s), quickly glancing and moving on I found myself actually watching the video and zooming in on the pics for a closer look.

I actually love Ali's kit & the album this time but I dont know if I will drop the money on them or not. It all seems pricey (again) and I can probably find something to use in my stash.
Oh heck, who am I kidding? I never finish WITL projects. So I wont buy any of it.

I love the mini cute, so cute. The main kit is not for me, I don't like all the black and the random blobs. Easy pass. I will probably get the album, it's fresh and fun. The add ons are crazy speedy, not sure what I'll do there. Honestly this will be much needed retail therapy for me. Has anyone thought about WHEN they will document their day in the life? I'm very doubtful life will be back to normal by May 11, but part of me is ok with that. Or I might even do it a bit earlier to incorporate how our live has changed, They are both mini kits, do you mean the Kiley Kit has the random blobs? I don’t care for those either. Holy crap, yes! I totally messed that up. Thanks for the catch, I probably would have ended up ordering the wrong thing. I LOVE Ali's mini kit and not the other one.

I love this release! Last year I had planned to do WITL in a photo book and never finished it (I still plan to, just so many other projects are piling up!!) I did finish WITL albums for 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 using Ali's kits (I used the current kit in 3 of those years and then one year I used an older kit from before I participated in the project). So this year I'm back to using her kit and I am thrilled that I love this release!
So I think I'm going to buy: Ali's mini kit, the album, sticker book, pleather embellishments, plastic numbers, and the transparency phrases. Phew, that's a lot! I don't even want to add up what the total will be... I'm also on the fence about the days of the week stamp and days of the week rubber pieces.
I am a little surprised that there is absolutely zero of Ali's handwriting on anything... I know sometimes she overdoes the handwriting, but it's such a signature piece of her designs, I kinda want some of it. I like that they had a guest designer option, but I am not a big Kiley in Kentucky fan so her kit was an easy pass for me. The only thing I liked were the bold 4x6 title cards and I wish Ali had used the 4x6 cards as title cards in her kit also (as I typically prefer to type my journaling for this project and it won't fit on a 4x6 card). I will just have to get creative with how I use Ali's 4x6 cards... I will likely cut them up! (Or save them for a project life spread?)
I am surprised there isn't a 3x8 album option, or even a second 6x8 album option, especially considering the bold yellow. I feel like all of my previous WITL albums are grey, black and white so this one will definitely stand out (although now that I'm thinking about it wasn't there a pink one last year? Maybe I didn't get that one... I can't check though because they're in storage grr). I might consider swapping this yellow album with the black & white star album I have for OLW to keep the neutral color scheme with my WITL albums.
I like the idea of the label stamp, but without a coordinating die I feel like it's kinda useless for me... and I rarely want a coordinating die.
I'm not sure how I feel about the font Ali selected being all over EVERYTHING, but I do like it a little. I wish she would pair more fonts together rather than focusing so heavily on any specific one.
I am OBSESSED with the pleather hexagons and transparency phrases.
I really hope life is back to normal soon and my WITL can be in a normal world in our new house. I am considering doing my own DITL this next week though to document the strange world we're living in right now... and because I failed at documenting it earlier this month because so much other stuff was going on right then.

That yellow album is way too much for me. Then again, I am not a yellow fan AT ALL.
This release makes it easy for me to continue not buying anything from AE this year, except for the $5 story stamp.
I'm still sad about KP closing up shop, but my wallet rejoices! 💸

I shouldn't have looked! Should. Not. Have. Looked. lasteve1 I too am surprised by the lack of Ali handwriting. But gosh I am I happy about it. I just hope she introduces some variety and doesn't now start using this new font everywhere. It's fine for this release as it serves purpose by keeping it cohesive across all the items but I don't want her to start using it on everything like she did her own handwriting. I don't typically do WITL - although kind of tempted whilst I am WFH during COVID-19 social distancing/lockdown - but I can see a lot of potential in this release and will probably pick up a few things.

I really like the bold design and colours of the second mini kit but would have prefered it to have been bold colours on white background, not black. I also like the album but way too expensive for me. I have a similar one from Simple Stories I can use. I will probably get the mini kit and the chipboard but waiting to see how much shipping costs will be.

I really like Ali's WITL kit and thinking of ways to cover the faux washi strips on the bottom may just lay photos on top. Would have loved to see the peach phrase stickers and circle numbers from Kiley's kit as add ons and the sticker book just as a bundle without duplicates as it's pretty pricey for a sticker book and i love the labels, days of the week, blue phrase stickers and the sentiments. Love the type chosen for this focused kit and the sentiment stamp that features the font.
I do WITL (on a smaller scale) a few times a year, highlighting 1 thing per day, so I love picking these sets up when I can.

My story kit and add-ons arrived today and I love the kit. However, the mini chipboard hearts are ridiculously over priced. They are super cute and I know they will use them, but they should be $1.99. It’s a teeny tiny bag! Ugh.

I was so excited to see a kit without her handwriting. And then I realized I’ve never done a WITL before and I struggle with creating mini albums so my excitement ended.
Do I want to do a WITL? I mean if I do, I have eleventythirty TNs I could use and don’t need to drop cash. I’m just afraid it will turn into a Stories by the Month project that I hate but have to finish because it completes my album.
Gah!

Alright, who is shopping the release? I really shouldn’t, but I did narrow my list. I am thinking about the sticker book, the pleather pieces, and the large numbers - just to add to my stash, not specifically for WITL. I would love the album, but it is overpriced. I would use the label stamp, but I have others in my stash.

I'm taking the money I would have spent on airbnb, travel, food and shopping while there and using it toward scrappy purchases. I placed a Scrapbook.com order for lots of essentials. Plan on buying from Ali today. But that will likely be it for awhile.

I am ready! I’m going to get the album. I’m going to pretend like I don’t see the price....the yellow stripes are so cheerful and I don’t have anything like it. I’ll get a couple of stamps and thinking about those hexagon pieces or the icon circles. Leaning more towards the hexagons. I’ll use a previous years kit that I never got around to using.
