I just added the WITL number stamp to my cart. Hoping it will be in the sbtm stuff I can pick up next month. Isn’t shipping on stamps actually for free? Shipping on clear stamps is free until April 23. After that, you do have to pay shipping unless you add a stamp set to one of your subscriptions (assuming the stamps are offered as part of the add-ons). I'm sorry you don't feel well enough to do WITL! Hope you get better soon. |

SBTM vent.
I am annoyed that the Wednesday card is paper and the other days of the week are vellum.
I am annoyed that the 3 things card that is usually paper, is vellum this month.
I am sick to death of speech bubbles.

That is strange with those cards for SBTM kit. Do you think it was a mix up?
Overall I like the kit tho. The colors are nice.
I skipped the Enjoy kit and don’t regret it. The color palette is bleh. The color palette’s have not been my jam for the SK’s this year. I think I’m going to cancel and just pick up month to month if I actually like the kit.

I am happy with SBTM and the enjoy kit. When I first saw enjoy colors as a whole I wasn’t super into it but as each piece was shown individually I loved it. I am happy there seem to be less directed storytelling papers in the kits this year- those aren’t my jam- every once in a while is ok. I love the theme of enjoy and it will be a kit I crush for sure.
While I personally really like June SBTM, I totally get the frustration! Absolutely that Wednesday card was an error. I really like those cards, though, and will use them all. I also thought it was an interesting choice to switch a couple of the every month cards to vellum. Personally I loved it because I am
Really sick of the same cards each month and I prefer the cards to vellum so it gives me more usable 3x4. I’ll still use the vellum ones, too. While I don’t love speech bubbles I do like the die cuts as a whole and I can trim the tails off if I want to. I also love the font used for June and some cards. The only real miss for me in SBTM were those suns with faces. I findthem super creepy!! I don’t care as I love everything else and there is so much in the kit. But I’ll find ways to use anything with a creepy sun a different way (cover them, flip card over, throw in the trash). Like I HATE it. Lol. But overall this month for both kits was a big thumbs up for me.

That is strange with those cards for SBTM kit. Do you think it was a mix up? Definitely seems like a mistake. The calendar and the 3 things needed to be paper. Some of the paper cards would’ve been better as vellum, like the sun. I hate those creepy suns with faces. |

I do like the die cuts as a whole and I can trim the tails off if I want to. The heart shaped was used earlier this year. I just cut that tail off an stuck another heart on top of it. You'd never know. I had wrote my journaling and stuck it on top of a photo. I knew I was going to use it that way and intentionally cropped the photo. I love how it turned out. It's really dark today so I'll try to grab some pics tomorrow. |

I'm in a cranky, pms-ing I hate everything mood today, I should probably not even post this.
I'm annoyed with the pacing of WITL. It's been 2 weeks and almost nothing from Ali. Very little from the creative team. But we can do another project in between documenting and actually getting the WITL content finished? Bah. I have zero interest in the "Pieces of" travelers notebook projects. The thing is, Ali didn't have her 2023 album up until the end of May so this isn't late or anything. I'm just annoyed.
Happy with the Story Kit, I think it will be usable for me.
Really dislike the SBTM kit, suns are creepy, the green word stickers don't seem to fit and yes, enough with speech bubbles.
I started out this year so inspired by Ali, now I'm not feeling it.

I’m sooo with you! I feel abandoned because I don’t subscribe to Ali’s monthly kits. It’s been hard to feel inspired in general for this project and I’ve looked for others who may have posted their progress. Not a lot out there, as far as I can tell.
I have it out on my desk, but keep putting it aside to work on other things. My first year for WITL and I really thought it would be more like DD time, with check ins.

Ali just posted on Instagram that she is editing and printing her WITL photos. I think the Pieces of Joy timing was unfortunate. I love what she did with it, and it's a project I'm planning on doing, but I'm focusing on WITL and my regular scrapbooking right now. There are a few people on the Facebook page who have shared their work. Some others on Instagram, including Denise Z. and Holly Devore. I was surprised to see how many people are waiting to do their week at a different time.
I have finished Monday, and I'm working on Tuesday right now. Going slow for me this year...

The WITL timing was unfortunate for me because I was traveling the following full week, so I got a little behind on putting together the album. I've been slowing editing photos, but plan to work on my album a lot this weekend. I will likely share updates on my stories/instagram and plan to share a full album walk-through when I'm finished, likely at the end of this month. I will def check in on stories, hopefully tomorrow but def Friday. Hopefully that will help others with the motivation to get theirs done!

I've seen a few people posting on instagram. I follow the #witl and #aewitl hashtags and I think that's how I found these people. janamke maybe you missed it but Ali did post a little video (probably on instagram) where she had printed lots of photos and was putting them in. I saw some full page pics, the half circles, and lots of 2" squares. She also printed out the NY Times for the pockets with a screenshot of the weather on the back. On the front of the pockets she put the vinyl day of the week circle (pleather?). Laura Wonsik posted her album. She didn't use any product from this year, as far as I could tell. It was a great album (I didn't see any photos of her husband in it. I hope they're ok). It's been so good to see her working with paper again. She just does whatever she wants and I love her. |

I'm a little ok with Ali not diving right into creating her album because I would fear it would be forced/simple/boring/phoned in, etc. But not delayed so much that it's been almost a month and she's done another project in between (that wasn't even the monthly kits--those I wouldn't have a problem with). I just did last week as my WITL and I already feel behind!
I don't "copy" her albums, but I do take an interest in what she does with some of the supplies. My first WITL I did the week after the official week and it was great because I got ideas from the days she was posting already that week. I stopped giving the advice to wait a week during a person's first WITL because the time between Sunday's documentation and Monday's completion is growing each year.

I’ve found a lot of setting up my album, documenting plans YouTube content, but basically nothing showing processes and completed albums. For a kit that sold out so quickly and that had everyone so excited, I’m just feeling so blerk and underwhelmed which is sad. I’ll work through it though as it’s such an important project to me but it’s just so….. |

blemon I resisted the sale. I didn't even go to Ali's website and put things in cart in preparation for the sale. My recent Scrapbook.com order arrived a few days ago and I need to use some of those supplies up. I also placed an order on HSN for three collections and I'm feeling guilty about my spending compared to the amount of time I have spent crafting lately.

I've been reorganizing my craftroom and the sheer amount of product I have kept me from even checking out the sale  I found SO much older product in boxes. It's concerning how much I've bought over the last 20 years. I wish I knew of a good place to donate. |

I didn’t bother with the sale. It’s not good what it says about me but I already have everything on the site I would want. I have more product than I am comfortable with right now. I really like incorporating old stuff from my stash + making my own cards with stamps + using some new things but I currently have so much new product coming in I am just trying to use that. It’s just that I get FOMO if I cancel one of the subs. But I know it’s time. I’ll keep my SBTM as that’s pretty inexpensive and works for PL well and give up my story kit - hey, the plus side is that maybe next sale there will be stuff I want and don’t have on the site?? Lol

It's pretty rare that all the story kits sell out. If you really need one, you could start a month-month sub then cancel. Or pick it up when they release the digital versions later. They do that at least once a year. |

I was freaking out that I’d missed an email but then saw the sale was only for subscribers and ae/inked don’t want my money as they only take credit cards for subs… there are a few kits I would like as I cannot sun but I can wait 😇
