Pythagoras? PYTHAGORAS? Motherfuckin' Pythagoras? How dumb can you be? How dumb? I give up. I'm so infuriated by the amount of fake quotes on Ali's (and Studio Calico's) cards. But PyThAgOrAs. Really? You thought Pythagoras wrote such 20th century faux wisdom nonsense? Talking about leaving roads in the 6th century BC? Because there were way too many roads back then and not enough wilderness or nature to roam. Use some basic common sense and stop insulting your customers. The second-hand embarrassment is real. Either know what and whom you're quoting or don't pretend you do. Stop spreading fake info, no matter what it is. And definitely don't charge your customers for it. And start quoting the proper quotes and their authors in the process. This is likely a Tumblr blog paraphrase from one of Muriel Strode's poems ("I will not follow where the path may lead, but I will go where there is no path, and I will leave a trail."). USE QUOTE INVESTIGATOR, DAMMIT. Seriously. Pythagoras. The guy we have NO AUTHENTIC WRITINGS of. Not a single one. The guy shrouded in mystery and who we barely know anything of. Thou must be kidding me. Did anyone on this team pay attention in any kind of introductory philosopy class? Or mathematics? *gets off soapbox* ETA: I forgot the gif. I have the gif for this umpteenth fake quote situation. I must use it. Who knows when Ali will use another fake Pythagoras quote next? I can't risk it. Perfect gif!! If they believe that quote, here’s another one of my faves: “America is all about speed, hot nasty bad-ass speed” -Eleanor Roosevelt, 1936

Pythagoras? PYTHAGORAS? Motherfuckin' Pythagoras? How dumb can you be? How dumb? And in next month's kit will be that famous Abraham Lincoln quote: The problem with internet quotes is that you cannot always depend on their accuracy.

That’s good to hear- I don’t think I’m going to get to it until this weekend. I liked her use of vellum. It was cute. She embellished on top of it but you could see the pictures through and then you just turned the vellum page and could see the fullsize picture. It was well done. Any other feedback on the travel class so far? I’ve been thinking of signing up, but also might just wait for a future class sale.

I'm definitely interested in the Outdoors release, but am worried it's going to be heavy on the camping again. Ironically we'll be heading into the mountains of Colorado so I'm not sure when I'll be able to check out the preview and shop.

If anyone’s interested before I list them elsewhere - I have a new Bloom SK and Connect SK available. $22 + shipping from California.

Those labels are calling my name, but I’m sure I won’t like the price tag. Maybe if it’s there on Black Friday lol - who am I kidding, it’ll only be a nickel off lol

I love the pleather sunshine’s from the great outdoors kit… and I am a sucker for the puffy hearts as well.

I always like those puffy hearts. Those ones are nice colors, but I’m not about to pay shipping for them.

The only thing I really want is the butterfly envelope....but I am not paying crazy shipping to get it. Maybe one day I will add it to another order, but otherwise, nothing for me.

I like being able to pick & choose from everything in the "kit"...especially since I don't care for/need half of it! I might pick up the cards, felt shapes, fabric circles and maybe one of the stamps.
