It’s so odd that only the 3x4 stamps are different. What will customer service even be able to do if this is just the way the stamps are going to be now? What do you mean? What’s different? The stamps have a different feel to them. My January stamp set is tricky to use because the elements don't stick well on a block. I just checked my Feb. stamp set and although it feels different (less gummy?), I'm still able to use it perfectly well. I don't know if they used a different manufacturer or if something in the process changed. |

Someone said awhile back that the stamps weren’t fitting in the sleeves. Might have been SC. Seems possible they switched manufacturers. |

So I only got 2 Mini Kits, the little moments and colors ones and the transparency pack, no album for me and I fell good, that I didn’t caved my fomo towards the album. I will get the photography kit digital - funny this kit will be first to sell out. Last look there were only 2 available.

I got the album ( not to actually use for any of these projects lol) the kit bundle and the stamps bundle. I was not into the letters/numbers. I went back and forth about the kits and decided I liked enough of each one to go ahead and grab them.

I went back and forth and ended up with the DITL kit and the Little Moments kit. I'm going to buy the Photography digital kit when it's released. Didn't care for any of the stamps nor did I like the album. I only liked two of the transperencies so didn't feel it was worth it to buy the lot.

Enough with the endless churning out of products/releases. Fact- I have too much Ali stuff. Feeling - Not interested Ali Edwards brand is a business. I personally love all of the products and releases. Ali even said that no one is expected to do them all. I like that she offers a variety of options. I get that, I do. But for me personally, I liked Ali's products a lot better when there was way less & I felt like they had some cachet. I started subbing with the second ever story kit and had a sub for arround 2 years, then a SBTM for a year. Ocassionally picking up items from travel/ transitions/OLW and D&D. Honestly other than DD, my favourite Ali release last year was Halloween. I just see a lot of repetition in her product offering and it just doesn't interest me. What I would really like would be the kind of blog that we had with SC, that was trully interactive. That brought me to their site for inspiration & chat, leading to purchasing. I only go to Ali's blog and site when someone posts here. I got my shipping notice for the stuff I bought yesterday this afternoon. That has to be a record! Usually my AE stuff takes forever to ship. Even weeks. Also, in case anyone missed the new stamps and wanted them, there is a preorder for the set of four up through Sunday, I believe, Ali said.

I decided to use that album for a project I had planned for a yellow album I have (last years DITL) but I’ll use the yellow for next years OLW instead since it’s so cheerful. I’ve decided when I really love something I should get it. Plus, I was at a point in my order where I could add something and get free shipping so it was like a 1/2 price album in my mind.  |

I’ve never bought products from Ali before, just followed along with DD and used my own papers and handmade albums.
These kits really appealed to me and I ended up buying all 4, with the album. I’m kind of shocked at myself, but excited to receive them. I think the color kit really clinched it for me…we have 2 cats, orange and black, and I know they’ll be prominent in my documenting.
I’ve never done a DITL or WITL either, so not sure I’ll start doing those. I saw someone mentioned doing a kit per season, which is something I used to do and really loved, so that might be fun to revisit.

I got the dividers, too (will use Avery tabs on them to title/separate into sections) and then it will house some stories I plan to tell but don’t want whole albums dedicated to each section. I missed a big chunk of time when I wasn’t scrapbooking and I know my girls would appreciate some type of recording of this time from my perspective (oldest dd mentioned it a lot actually). So for instance, one section will be about a place we vacationed a lot in that period and memories from then. Another section will be traditions and memories from holidays during that time of life and then another section will be some memories from my childhood and growing up. There’s five dividers so I’ll do five or six sections. It’s a good solution for me and the albums “remember this” sentiment really works I think. |

So, on Wednesday I was in a meeting and missed the start of the collection and the stamps I wanted were sold out already. I was planning to buy the kits digitally but wanted the stamps to go along with it. I then had a closer look at the papers and in the end I bought the bundle of all four and pre-ordered the stamps - but had to pay shipping twice. I hate when that happens. I'm happy, the papers will work for a couple of layouts, not necessarily in one album, and I do not have to chase for the stamps when I am working on a project and decide I now would like to have them.
