PSA - I just saw on IG that this sunday 10th at 12pm EST, AED is adding some of the sold out DD items to the shop (previously held as extras in case of shipping or other issues) and subscriber add on. Very limited quantities (for example 20 or 25). Mentioned green felt numbers, green tree albums, main kit, liz mini kit, stamps, etc.

I didn’t care for the fan story kit - I had a skip on it and I picked up the paisley press mini kit instead for just a couple dollars more so that worked out well as I was regretting a little not getting it. I thought it was kind of funny that finally this month there were no diecuts in SBTM as there have been all year (so many!) as with PL life and DD I’d have more chances to use them -especially as they’ve often been large and many repeated sayings which which finally work out for a second December project and one bigger in scale. But no, there’s floral elements. lol oh well. The SBTM Kit looks fine. I am really looking forward to Ali taking back the designer reins for that kit next year. I’ve enjoyed it this year and made things work but a year of the same thing does get old.

LOVE the Fan kit, but I knew I would. Both of my kids play the same sport, and often together. They are seniors and I have so many ideas for this kit.
The STBM kit is beautiful! Literally the only one I've liked this entire year and I have no need for it. Or course!
I did sub to the quarterly scrapbook kit, I'm a sucker for watercolors and the kit is beautiful. Mostly I'm sad about no more story kits and missing 6x8 papers.

Was looking forward to the Fan kit as it is a very usable theme for me, but it’s just ok. Again the colors are a miss for me. Too many quote cards. The “XO” is an odd choice imo, I'll probably use that for another project. I like the stamp. Not getting either but the SBTM kit & Scrapbook kit are both great this month.

Please see "newly" released Project Kits, hereThis is just irritating. Does Ali think we are stupid? Bundling a bunch of kits that didn't sell into something new and exciting? And the PRICES??? I'm furious over this. Which is silly, it's paper. But still furious. And for the record, I have enjoyed just about every Story Kit I received. Except Present. The colors and phrases in that kit are atrocious. Sell it for $5 and be done with it. A turd with shiny packaging is still a turd.

*and* AE now has the extra shipping costs and priority shipping costs. Gross.

They're sad kits, really. That's what I thought. Cobble together some kits that didn't sell, leftover stamps and call it a "bundle"?

Grr I forgot to catch the shipping protection 😖. I did the first time but then went out of the cart and back in and forgot the second time.

Omg. I was looking at the four seasons and wondering why all that November crap was in there. That’s a spectacularly bad assembly of kits for the seasons.

The "shipping protection" is what's making me think AE will be emulating Studio Calico in other ways.
I'm going to make sure I download all of my digital files before the year ends. It's been way too easy for me to just rely on the website.
I hope the classes don't go away. I don't think there's a way to download them. I should probably make sure I at least save the PDFs.

I think the shipping part is just part of the Inked system, not a sign of Ali's demise alongside of SC's demise...I mean changes... I looked at Heidi Swapp's site and it has the same cart set up. But it's never a bad idea to make sure you are caught up with downloads & classes, just in case.

Ali got on Insta this morning and dispelled any rumors about digital or class content going away. She made it clear they are all in for scrapbooking products and offerings going forward and the only change is the Story kid evolving into the quarterly kit.

I remember losing access to classes and materials when Two Peas closed down, and again when Big Picture Classes (I think that's what it was?) reorganized.
