It seems that I always forget something. But on the trip to Europe I took earlier this Spring, I have to say, I didn't come across anything I forgot. Of course, I had been tracking a list on my phone for months ahead of time. So anytime I thought of something, I would add it immediately to the list so I wouldn't forget again!

Happy to read this thread as I forgot my swimsuit on my trip to California last week. We are leaving for Las Vegas tomorrow. We booked Mandalay Bay specifically for the pool. I almost forgot to pack the darn suit again. Glad you posted OP.

Once I forgot the power cord to my CPAP machine. Can't breath real well without it! I have never ever forgotten that again. I used to make so many lists when traveling when the kids were younger and now that they are gone, I've gotten lax.

I wouldn't say I ever forgot them, because it took me a long time to realize I should take them: clamps to hold the drapes shut in the hotel. I like it DARK to sleep, and drapes never quite close all the way in hotels. I picked up a six pack from the target dollar spot last year. Way better than the hair clips I have used in a pinch! LOL!

I'm traveling right now, if you consider weekend camping as traveling. When I go on bigger trips, I rarely forget anything because I make lists. Campinf is 2nd nature so I pack things with really thinking about it. Usually don't forget anything important, but this time I don't know what happened....I set out a pair of sweatpants and a few long sleeved shirts, along with my overnight cosmetic case (which actually just holds trial size toiletries, ponytail holders, deodorant, etc). Left the whole stack of stuff on my bed. Also didn't grab my blood-sugar monitor or my anti-anxiety meds. Thankfully, I keep my diabetes meds in my purse so I didn't have to go back. I keep deodorant and hair supplies permanently in the trailer, and it's been warm enough that tank tops have been fine. Really the only thing I miss is the anxiety meds. But it's just 3 days. I'll get by.

Batteries. And not to pack so much. Rent house with washer and dryer for that reason (and so no laundry to do when I get home!) and I packed a bit too much anyhow. Kids did well. Me, not so much.
