My October goals:
-organise the hundreds of photos I printed for 2013 into layouts (page protectors) in binders
-organise the hundreds of photos I printed for our trip album into layouts (page protectors) in binders
-scrap August 2017
-order photos for September 2017
-order photos for DD17's trip album
-catch up DS's Okinawa album
-scrap Sept. in DD17's high school album
-catch up DD10's GS album
-sew a Hallowe'en costume for DD17
-order prints for the rest of 2013
-organise the hundred+ photos I printed for 2012 into layouts (page protectors) in binders

My goal for October sounds simple, but it's a chore: reorganize my entire scrapbook room. Right now there are boxes stacked on the floor and used items sitting out instead of being put back in their places. I'll post an "after" when I'm done. The "before" is too embarrassing to share!

Mine are all "Start On" items. (I have no illusion I will finish any of them in a month. LOL - Start making Christmas cards for the Christmas Card Exchange - Start a mini album for my grandson of the 2 new kitties he got this summer - Start a mini album of all of the grandson pictures his mom texted me this year Wish me luck! ETA: Make Birthday Cards for the 10 for 10 exchange! How could I forget that?!? Lots of ideas swimming around in my head. I need to pick out something special to make for my RefuPea birthday gals.  |

Linda, sounds like a very busy and productive month for you. pherena, wow, definitely not simple. I put organization in pieces and still can't get one piece done in a month! Good luck to you! Restless Spirit, awe to both of those mini albums!!! Good luck on your goals.

We have 2 trips this month and need to finish outdoor chores. And my crafty want to list doesn't reflect the must do house items, so I will think of them as very lofty goals.
1. Finish online viewing of sewing class with dd.
2. Cut out pattern for sewing pants with dd.
3. Attend sewing pants class.
4. Make all the challenges for October's the digital press (you get there collab kit for free when you complete all of them).
5. Create at least 2 traditional layouts.
6. Work on Christmas cards.
7. Work on a 8x8 calendar swap.

Mine is simple this month..find time to scrap! I really want to complete all the monthly challenges. Next 2 weeks are crazy because I'm getting married on the 14th, after that I should have a lot more time to scrap and hopefully get to all of the challenges.

I turn the big 4-0 this month, so I'm going to attempt to document the last 3 weeks of my 30's... I don't know if I will make a separate album, or just several pages in my existing albums yet. I'm not very good at finishing special albums (December Daily...) so we'll see. I need to remember to take the good camera everywhere...

This is hopefully moving month! So my goal is to put together at least 20 page kits for a retreat, then finish packing everything. I am enjoying putting my scraps to good use in my page kits!  The move itself will come at the end of the month assuming the inspection and appraisal go well. |

•complete 1 mo in PL (0 weeks completed)

•complete at least 6 projects total (0/6)
•print WITL Apr 17-23
•use up Shutterfly Coke print credits before they expire
•convert MOV files to AVI

I had a nice long crop Fri and Sat so I ended Sept with almost all of my current photos scrapped. I have a few photos my son just sent me online and one of my other son and his gf and they are at Walmart to get picked up.
So for Oct I am going to keep plodding away on my living history 18th c photos. I plan to be working on those for the foreseeable future. I hope to have 2 crops in October. This living history project I have been talking about for a year. I cannot believe how long it is taking me just to get through one era! If I finish this one part by the first of the year including a retreat I will be so relieved.
I will also try to make sure I keep up with any current pics.

Work has finally quietened down after a crazy 2 months so I'm working on my Christmas cards and want to get those finished. Just mad my niece's birthday card and also need to do a couple more for Oct birthdays. Then my main goal is to get the last few pages of last year's DD album done so I can start the one for this year!

I have a week off coming up on the 16th.
Goal to scrapbook! Or use my supplies to create.
Want to start making Christmas cards for the caring hearts drive (think that's what it's called).
Like to create in my art journal.

Do you see a theme here? LOL I haven't sent cards for the past few years because I just haven't gotten my act together enough. I love receiving cards, and I love to send them - I have just gotten caught short in December. With all the concert prep for school and church, plus the increased social activity, I have to get them done by Thanksgiving or fuhgeddaboudit. I have lost some people in my extended family this year, and I hate hate hate that they didn't get a card from me in their last years. I don't want to let that happen again.
I have about 15 cards that I made last year before I gave up, and I bought an Anna Griffin kit that will make 30 more. I figure I can make the AG cards plus some of my original designs this month. We'll see!

My Cricut Expression quit working. I did a live chat with Cricut and they were helpful, but it's not working yet. I'm downloading a program I hope will help! I like that I don't need a computer to use my Cricut.
My goal is to get it working before my 3 day crop next month!

September was a total bust but I'm hopeful about October. I'd like to do my second Disney album and I need to decide what collection to use. I got a little bored with Say Cheese on my first one.
It's really about setting aside some time to scrap. I'll be happy with pretty much anything this month. Including just getting my mojo back.

I have avoided working on fall and holiday projects until October. Yay, it's finally here!
Since we had Christmas in July, I have a pretty good start on cards. I'll finish up the ones that aren't quite done, and then create more from card kits. Most of them will be for donating to a fundraising sale in early November.
I have supplies to create a Halloween shadow box, which will be my only Halloween project.
Last year, I pulled out negatives to make prints for a decorative Fall album, so that will be next. I have been some saving Basic Grey Persimmon for it.
I spent September getting 2016 album finished up to Halloween and getting all 2017 photos in the album up to now. My pages from last fall are only partially done, and my intention is to work on last year along with this year's timeline until I'm caught up. I like to make journaling, decorative, and title pieces simultaneously with the card kits I'm working on.
I have more in mind, but if I can get at least this much done, I'll be satisfied.
Sounds like everyone has a good plan, even those of you with big events going on. Gotta keep scrapping!

I've already made some progress - yay me! But then I added some new goals as well...

my October goals:
-- Unpack all the supplies I took to my weekend retreat and get my craft room re-organized (somewhat)
-- Clear off the desk in my scrapbook room so I can work in there if I want to and keep it cleared off.
-- Finish the final details (embellishments and journaling) on the layouts I made last weekend at my retreat and put them in their respective albums.
-- Start working on making Christmas cards- both for my own Christmas list and for the NSBR Christmas card swap.
-- Make the October pocket letter for the swap with my sister that I have going on
-- Scrapbook at least one weekend afternoon during the month: continue my monthly pocket pages catch-up and complete at least some of the layouts I started making last weekend.
-- Edit / send at least 125 more photos to Costco to be printed.
eta: do at least 4 layouts for my Hawaii trip album-- I have the AZ Memorial and Pear Harbor layouts pre-made; I need to add the photos and embellish them.

I hope to finish my Jan-Jun PL album this month. My hopes are small, lol.
I would also like to make some headway on labeling my stamps, but that is probably a goal I'll be putting off for several months before I actually sit down and work on it!
