Titanic was mentioned numerous times on the guilty pleasures movie thread. I've never seen it and have no desire to ever see it. I just have to know, am I alone in this?

I saw the last seven minutes and strangely enough never felt any great compulsion to watch the rest of it! It's all a bit predictable, really!

No, you are not, and I will one up you by saying I have never watched one of any of the Harry Potter movies, either....

No, you are not alone. I've seen trailers but de Caprio just didn't strike me as a leading man, too babyfaced I thought. No desire to watch to date.

I've seen Titanic more times than I could even keep count. Lots of times. I can't help it, I love it.
And the HP movies... love them too! And have seen them several times, especially 1-5.

I haven't seen a Harry Potter movie or read a book either. I haven't seen Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit or any of those types of movies.
I did see The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and loved it!

The Titanic movie was good - loved it when it came out (saw it in the theatre 4 times I think) but haven't watched it in years.
Love the HP movies.
Have not watched any of the LoTR movies or Hobbit movies. Have no desire to read the books or watch the movies. Ever.

OH, you don't want to know what I haven't seen.....Titanic, HP, Star Trek, Star Wars.....my list is never ending. I don't do well in movie theaters. If the show doesn't draw me in it's dark so I fall asleep!!

I haven't seen Titanic.
Or the Godfather.
Or Steel Magnolias.
I haven't seen the HP movies either, although I think I'd probably like them. I sometimes catch snippets on cable.

As someone who has a date every Tuesday with my DH to go to the movies, y'all are killing me. I have to admit I have no interest in the Twilight series. Love me some Hunger Games though.

All I can really say is "be grateful". That's a couple of hours of my life I will never get back. On the other hand, should you ever be in Southampton where the Titanic set sail from do go to the Titanic Museum, it's amazing!

I love Titanic. But you can put me in the boat (LOL) of those who have never seen HP, the Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Star Trek, or the Rocky movies. Just not interested in those.

Being a history buff I looked forward to seeing it. Everyone at work raved about it, that should have been a clue and I should have actually listened to what they had to say.
OMG, it was a love story, a really bad love story. So historically incorrect I could hardly stay in my seat.
The second time in my life that I wanted to ask for my money back.
If you have not seen it - count yourself lucky.

I didn't see Twilight or any of those movies either and I love vampire books. Teen vampires did nothing for me.
I did see ET in 1981?

I've seen it a couple of times. It's a great visual movie and I'm glad that I saw it on the big screen. I also loved the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings movies--just fun fantasy. No desire, however, to see the Twilight movies.

I've not seen it. I couldn't bring myself to watch a movie that glorifies a horrific historical event for the sake of being a cash cow. Im not sure why that particular movie bothered me more than others. For whatever reason, I think they cheapened the tragedy when they made it a romantic blockbuster. I also have a fear of drowning. ..so that probably plays a part in it too. ( haven't seen the movie with Tom Hanks, isolated on an Island with Wilson either...I knew I couldn't watch the scene where the plane goes down).

Never seen the Hunger Games movies either - and won't.
As far as being Historically accurate, I'm not sure that was the point of Titanic - it was definitely a love story!
