Could be. Samiam just joined this month - although she apparently has long-term knowledge of the community - and seems to have the same interests/outlook as Olan. I obviously could be wrong too.  In any case, it doesn’t matter and I shouldn’t have asked. What are my outlooks and interests Elaine? Do you have any? How do you care for your family in a way that a woman would be proud of yet still manage to spend so much time online. If I start one thread or get into one "engagement" on 2peas it takes productivity out of my entire day. I've sat having the last word in the lobby of the gym missing out on my favorite machine!! Seriously how do you manage? Yet you constantly attack my mental stability. Reclaim your time Elaine. The moms outside of your computer may find you insufferable but they may not. BUT I see rather than go and provide any proof of your claims you are (as usual) going for the attack tactic and will refuse to acknowledge the question. Plus you are living proof that it's not true because we all know that if stress actually caused those things, you'd be the first one on this board that would have carked it a loooong time ago, because you're always in a lather about some perceived injustice. |

As far as outrage, you couldn't be more wrong. I sit here and smile, smirk and sometimes outright laugh at how upset you people are at Trump; especially when I know he'll be in office for 3 more years. Lots of anxiety for you and lots of smiles for me.

Isn't it pretty well known that stress affects our health in many ways? I believe that it does, and feel that we have to balance "outrage" (I think we may have different definitions of outrage going on in this thread) with self-care. That includes taking a break from social media or the news if needed, taking walks, doing other things that are enjoyable, etc. I also agree that sticking our heads in the sand and just letting things that are going on pass without a care is not going to be helpful in any way. That being said, it seems that the purpose of this thread was to specifically create "outrage" so I'm not sure how genuine the OP is in her concern for the well-being of others. |
