I am going to my very first overnight crop next weekend. Cannot wait! I will be working on my December Daily, my Pea Christmas Cards, and maybe previous years DD. : )
I also have a blanket I started to crochet two years ago. I could pull it out and actually finish it for a Christmas gift. We shall see.

lainey That is gorgeous! Nicely done, and I love the color choices too. I made the tail and crown for my Halloween costume last week. I decided to be Max from Where the Wild Things Are. I thought it would be easier to sit outside in a warm costume vs. trying to beat two dogs who are currently quicker than me to the door every time the bell rings! I bought the white PJs with feet and a hood from Amazon, and just had to successfully sew the tail and crown doing the foot pedal for the sewing machine with my left foot, LOL. I also decided to host a couple friends to come over and scrapbook a couple weekends from now. I already warned them that the house will be a mess but Iβll do what I can to clean up the scrap room for them before they come. I donβt think Iβve made a single page in over a year. Not sure what Iβm going to work on but I have 11 days to figure it out!

I made about 12 Halloween cards earlier this month for family and friends. These are four of my favorites from that batch.

Oh how I wish I had the talent of knitting or crocheting, that shawl is beautiful! Love the Halloweβen cards, well done. I finished this sign up on Sunday. Made the mistake of showing my cousin and daughter-in-law and now I have to make two more!

I'm ludicrously pleased with myself that is finished, You should be pleased with yourself...it's beautiful! The colors are stunning. Is that Whirl? If you remember I had a whirl vomit as well which took me two days to unravel.
As I finally finished the Lily Pond I was allowed to start something else (self imposed) and I've made a start on the Spirit of Life Wrap. I'm up to part 2 which is the mosaic crochet which I've never done before & it requires some concentration so I can't do it when I'm tired. yesterday I did one row about 5 times and kept counting and counting...finally gave it up for the night. I'll post a photo when I have part 2 done.
I haven't given the Lily Pond to my friend yet - she lives 2hr drive away. I'll be seeing her on the 15th and will give it to her then...I haven't told her I finished it yet although she knew I was at the sewing up stage.
A work colleague is pregnant with her first baby so I'm planning to make just a simple cotton blanket for her - maybe the "call the midwife" one. I have some lovely cotton in two shades of green. Like this:

Thank you It is a Whirl, I was doing the light green chain section when I realised I'd missed something three rows back and had a gaping big hole! I frogged it and got into a tangle, it just wouldn't unravel so I cut it. Really looking forward to seeing your wrap Save

lainey Beautiful work, sorry about the yarn vomit. If you are in Aldi on the 5th, they are doing a Craft specialbuy again. The yarn includes, Aran, DK and Rainbow Yarn. The Rainbow yarn is 200g for Β£4.99 and looks like mini whirl/caron cakes. Can't tell if the colour changes are gradual or abrupt.

Your shawl is great, lainey as are all the other makes. I especially like seeing the seasonal items. I have so much paperwork still that I canβt really pick anything up that needs any concentration. Iβve done a row or so on the Navajo diamonds blanket and will finish my Hygge after I break the back of the paperwork.

That shawl is making me swoon lainey. My niece won two Halloween costume contests with the Loonette from the Big Comfy Couch costume I made for her.

What is everyone working on this (next) month? Looking forward to seeing all the fantastic makes Beautiful shawl! Mine are blocked and waiting to come into work with me so I can use the dress form for pics. Iβm having crocheters block. I still have to test out that mermaid tail in yarn that will rip out easy, then do it in the right yarn for the gift. I have a hard time picking things up if I know the pattern is wonky. I may just find another pattern, but I need to do that yesterday. LOL i should be busy making doll clothes, but I went down the vinyl rabbit hole. Here are the elves I did.

I made this little banner sweater from Tin Can Knits and their book Mad Color for my toddler. This was the best I could do in terms of getting her to hold still for a photo. Attachments:

As proud as I am about my kids' band making it to state finals (www.themcba.org for Michigan peas), I'm so ready to be done with the uniforms! Washing the white gauntlets, fixing the flags, re-sewing on snaps... This has become a full time job.
I'll have to look through my pictures and see what I've posted on Instagram since the last time I did a share. I did finish up a hat, gloves, scarf set last night for another band mom. Tomorrow, I'll print out the October temps and add to my temperature scarf. I'll try to share that within a week.

It's not quite November but I finished my Edlothia shawl and wanted to share it. I'm ludicrously pleased with myself that it's finished, there were times I wanted to flush it down the loo! The pics aren't great, it's so dark here today, and it really needs blocking to bring out the pattern (a job for another day!) I had to finish it before the actual pattern ends as I ran out of yarn, I had a yarn barf problem somewhere on the light green section and ended up cutting it and losing some SaveSaveOoooh I LOVE IT!!! The colors are stunning!
