I love all the Hallmark Christmas movies. Yes, they are cheesy and pretty predictable, but it's nice to see something lighthearted and fun at Christmas time. One of my favorites is Crown For Christmas.

.She is British and that was her trying to do an American accent. This is my husband's favorite movie. bought it for him for Christmas a couple years ago. Would love a Christmas Card 2. Ok well above I mentioned that The Christmas Card is my family's Rocky Horror Picture Show. The four of us can recite it at this point. Last year we were joking and came up with Christmas Card 2: Paul's Revenge. 😂 It's pretty dark though...I don't think the Hallmark folks would go for it. The actress that plays Rosie(Lois Nettleton) has passed away so they'd have to figure out how to handle that in a sequel.

I don't mind them, but DH loves them. We cancelled cable awhile back, next thing I know a few weeks ago he's signing us back up. Why? so he can watch his Hallmark Christmas movies. We are only a week or so into them and I'm over them already...LOL My husband likes The Twelve Gifts of Christmas about a personal shopper for an executive! The movies are always on in the family room, and he walks in, watches a few minutes, then sits and watches the rest. He doesn't plan to watch them, but anything on tv it grabs his attention, no matter what it is!

I forgot about the one where the moms all go on strike the month of December. The meet at the one lady's knitting shop to arrange it. It's ok too. There is a book called "On Strike for Christmas" and it was really good!

I love to watch them, cheesy and all. I think my favorite and I haven't seen it on the schedule for a few years is Christmas with Holly. It's on the DVR so I make sure to watch it at least once during the season.

One I enjoy was on this morning from 8-10am. It is called A Holiday Engagement. Girl gets dumped by her fiancé right before heading home for Thanksgiving. Her family was finally going to meet him (Mom is Shelley Long!) so she hires someone to play her fiancé and of course, they fall in love. I set the DVR to catch it next time it is on. lol (11/21) SaveSave

last night I watched most of one (small town Christmas-wedding wedding planner falls for bride's movie star brother and he falls for her), and I started another one but had to go to bed. And yes, I will admit I set the DVR to record it, so I can see the rest of it, lol! But the main character is played by Danica McKellar-- Winnie from the Wonder Years is one of my favorite childhood tv characters- I HAD to watch it, lol!
I'll probably watch a few more now and then... for me, it depends on who plays the main character- Lacy Chaubert irritates me for some reason so I don't like any of hers. Candace Cameron Bure is okay, depending on the story. Most of the other random blonde actresses are okay.

I watched Coming home for Christmas last night.. Danica McKellar is a good actress and I like to watch her. I am going to say I was distracted by her incredibly perky girls. : :She has a stellar figure and does not look like she's aged at all. The movie was OK.

I cannot stand Danica McKellar. Never could. I feel kind of bad about that because I have no real reason but nope, don't like her.
I like Candace Cameron Bure. I can't wait for her new movie this year where she plays twins! 11/26 is the premiere I believe...
