Thank you for the news, seasidemermaid. Holiday baked goodies are starting to arrive. The Cracker Barrel restaurant near us is selling chocolate pecan pies for $8.99.

I picked up an almond last Sunday at Aldi for $4.99. Oh my goodness!! Heavenly!! I sent a text to DD and told her to go back and by another one and throw it in the freezer so we would have it Christmas.

The pecan ones are my favorite. and raspberry. The kringle place in Racine goes crazy making them and sending them country-wide. Seems like every year there is a bit on the news about them. It was just on a Milwaukee news station within the past couple days. Everything is hand done and the amount they make this time of year is crazy. Made in Wisconsin: Racine Danish Kringle <<< aired yesterday (Nov 10th)

I feel sorry for all y'all who can't go get one from your grocery store any ol' day of the week/month of the year.

We were just at TJ and I had to get my phone out to make sure what to get. We got the Almond Kringle! How does one eat the kringle? Does it need to be heated up? Can't wait to try it.

I need to go back this Friday to see if there's any more left. We've almost polished off the two I bought already!
