Just heard on my news that Trump has been uninvited to the UK in January.
Also there are rumours that Trump is looking for someone to replace Tillerson. He might be on the outs. Hmmm.

I'm losing faith in Tony Schwartz. He was on MSNBC last night (I forget which show) and made some incredible revelation that came from a psychiatrist (whom he said he trusted implicitly) who had supposedly been consulted about Trump's mental state by WH staffers. I found the whole story hard to believe. Maybe desperate WH staffers would call in a shrink, but would that shrink (illegally) tell Tony Schwartz about it? And if he did, would Tony Schwartz feel okay about betraying his trust on national TV? There's something wrong with this story and it's probably what he's pushing today, too. But don't worry, I'll be watching anyway. ETA revirdsuba99 they're both from Tony Schwartz. You can read them under his name at Twitter -- @tonyschwartz ETA #2 oh, I just realized the tweets are from yesterday. So he probably won't be on again tonight, I'm guessing. I don't know Lucy, Schwartz has tons of contacts and I believe he knows Trump better than most. He spent 18 hrs a day with DT for almost 2 years. I don't think he would ever have to make shit up. I saw that clip replayed a little while ago, and he didn't say his friend was a shrink. I guess I just assumed that. So then I guess it wouldn't be illegal and unethical for someone to pass that gossip along to him, after all. He's back on my good list now.

Just heard on my news that Trump has been uninvited to the UK in January. According to Theresa May speaking on our 10 pm news tonight the invite still stands but no date has been agreed on. There never has been a date for him to visit.

I know some mentioned this earlier, but I thought this was good, and we can smile a bit! Theresa May accidentally tagged by Trump: He should ‘think before he tweets’BY JOSH DELK - 11/30/17 08:51 PM EST Theresa May Scrivener, a British woman who was tagged accidentally by President Trump in a tweet meant for the British Prime Minister Theresa May, says that the president should "think before he tweets." "I think that he should think before he tweets. Maybe look at the name he's tweeting and just check," said Scrivener in an interview with Time Magazine. "It is amazing to think the most powerful man in the world can make such a simple mistake and you know he could end up pushing the wrong button." Trump tagged Scrivener in a tweet Wednesday that was meant for the British Prime Minister, who had criticized the president's retweets of a right-wing British nationalist group. Trump told the prime minister "don’t focus on me, focus on the destructive Radical Islamic Terrorism that is taking place within the United Kingdom. We are doing just fine!" The president quickly replaced the misaddressed tweet 20 minutes later. Trump has made similar mistakes in the past. "I know Donald Trump will not apologize, I don't even know he's done anything wrong. I don't know if he realizes the impact of his mistake," said Scrivener, who told Time her house had been surrounded by reporters in the aftermath of the incident. “I think he should concentrate on running his country and not ours," Scrivener said of Trump's mention of the United Kingdom in his comments. "I think he should maybe get off Twitter and start focusing on whats going on around him a little bit more.” thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/362705-theresa-may-accidentally-tagged-by-trump-he-should-think-before-he

Tonight The NY Times has released a story that trump during the summer pressured Republican Senators to end Senate Russia inquiry. Jonathan Martin tweet with the story. BURR on the record >> “It was something along the lines of, ‘I hope you can conclude this as quickly as possible” Add to that Sessions refusal to answer the question did that trump pressured Sessions to end the Russia investigation. For someone who claims they are innocent he sure is looking guilty.

“Here is what i just don’t get: if as the President says the economy is doing great, unemployment at 4% and stock market way up, then why the hurry to pass a tax bill without full discussion and hearings?”
Good question. But the main reason the stock market is up is the potential tax cut.

“A disgraceful verdict in the Kate Steinle case! No wonder the people of our Country are so angry with Illegal Immigration.”
No what is disgraceful is that nothing is being done to stop guns from getting into the hands of people who manage to kill 33,000 + innocent Americans every year. And the vast majority of shooters are not undocumented folks with or without a criminal background. That is what is truly disgraceful.

Donald Trump is going to campaign for Roy Moore. Because, of courseAnalysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large Updated 8:20 AM ET, Fri December 1, 2017 Washington (CNN)Less than a week after making clear that he would not go to Alabama to campaign for embattled Senate nominee Roy Moore, President Donald Trump is doing the next best thing: He's going to Pensacola, Florida, to hold a campaign event next Friday -- just four days before the December 12 special election. Pensacola -- for you amateur geographers out there -- is 25 miles from the Alabama border. It's closer to the capital of Alabama (164 miles to Montgomery) than it is to the capital of Florida (196 miles to Tallahassee). And the Pensacola-Mobile media market reaches more than 15% of the state. So while Trump won't technically set foot in Alabama, he is doing everything but. Which, when you consider Trump and his political persona, is not surprising in the least. More at link: www.cnn.com/2017/12/01/politics/trump-pensacola-roy-moore-analysis/index.htmlOf course he will campaign for moore! Birds of a feather..........

The man is really delusional. Here's his tweet about the tax bill:
Republican Senators are working hard to pass the biggest Tax Cuts in the history of our country. The Bill is getting better and batter. This is a once in a generation change. Obstructionist Dems trying to block because they think it's too good and will not be given credit.
I think he really believes this $hit!

John Harwood...
“WH lawyer Ty Cobb describes Trump’s designated national security adviser Michael Flynn as “a former Obama administration official”
That is true except the Obama Administration fired him for cause. And in spite of that trump hired him. And after being warned by the acting AG that Flynn could be compromised it took another two weeks before he was fired by the trump administration using the reason he was fired because he lied to Pence.
You would think trump would have stayed away from someone fired from a high level security position. But either he was looking for a shady guy or he was the only security guy he could get.

oh, you KNEW that Trump would try to blame SOMEONE else for this. It's his M.O. But this time, he CAN'T. Especially since Sally Yates WARNED them about Flynn.

What a difference a year makes.
Graham 2016 - Trump's a kook.
Graham 2017 - Media shouldn't label Trump a kook.

Now, admittedly, I am not American, and I am not exactly sure how your system works, but - don't the Republicans have a majority in both houses of Congress? If so, what does it matter what the Democrats do? Surely, the Republicans can pass the bills on their own? Or do they need more than 50%?

Yeah, they're trying to spin this as "he's an Obama man". Yeah, cuz an "Obama man" would chant "lock her up" on stage about the Dem candidate. Peddle it amongst the morons, Ty. The rest of us see through your shit.

“The jury was not told the killer of Kate was a 7 time felon. The Schumer/Pelosi Democrats are so weak on Crime that they will pay a big price in the 2018 and 2020 Elections.”
Nah people care more about jobs and health care and how it affects them personally than vague references to “soft on crime”. And seniors really care about Social Security and Medicare than vague references to “soft on crime”. And as your tax plan goes through these issues will become front and center for the voters who are negatively affected by these issues in 2018 and 2020.

“ABC News’ @brianross reports that Flynn is prepared to testify President Trump directed him to make contact with Russians”
So the next question would be why did trump feel the need to have a surrogate contact Russia prior to him taking office? What couldn’t wait until he was president? Was this the only country trump wanted to make contact with on the sly?

How can they vote on it if they haven't seen it all? From what is being said the Republicans have written the bill and added amendments without letting the Democrats know what is in the bill. However it’s being reported Republican special interest folks have copies of the bill and amendments. its forgone conclusion the Democrats are going to vote no so I guess the Republicans feel they don’t need to share it. And please before anyone says the Democrats did the same thing to the Republicans with the ACA. They did not. There are over 100 Republican amendments in the ACA.

But how can they be expected to vote on it if they don't know all the details? If they're just going to assume anyone of either party is going to vote a certain way only, why bother voting at all?

One reason they do not vote right away ........another.... many do not even read 100s of pages they just talk about it, as long as they each get their special item in it they are happy. It makes it difficult for the minority party to be in the know. Also why we get bits and pieces in the news as they try to make decisions, particularly when they try to rush things through as they are doing now.. It truly is a sloppy mess all the way around! ETA: they all know that the budget needs to be passed each year and wait until the very last minute! Both parties in general do it, which ever one is in charge at the time.
