Dianne Feinstein.... “UPDATE: Republicans finally released their 500-page tax cut bill—drafted ENTIRELY behind closed doors. We’re probably voting tonight, but NO ONE has read the bill! Unacceptable.” Sounds like some Republican Senators haven’t read it either. This really bothers me. Apparently I am very naive because I assumed someone(s) in each office read the entire thing and pass pertinent information along to the elected officials in order for them to make an informed decision.

Dems rip GOP over handwritten changes to tax plan BY JOSH DELK - 12/01/17 07:18 PM EST 98
Sen. Dick Durbin holds up tax bill on Senate floor: "This is what happens when you push through a bill, late at night, desperate to pass it, without really stopping to ask yourself, 'Will this make us a stronger nation?'" pic.twitter.com/EdoZqn8Mij — ABC News Politics (@abcpolitics) December 2, 2017
Senate Democrats on Friday ripped Republicans for making last-minute handwritten changes to a version of the tax reform legislation mere hours before the chamber is expected to vote on it.
"They are scribbling changes in the margins. What could possibly go wrong," Sen. Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) tweeted, with a photo showing a column of scribbled notes next to a section of the lengthy bill.
The version of the bill Democrats are criticizing does not include a final GOP amendment that hasn't been filed yet.
"Trying to review the #GOPTaxScam but they are making hand-written changes to brand new text as we speak – can anyone else read this?" tweeted Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), sharing the same page of the law.
Durbin also criticized the process on the Senate floor, saying the GOP wrote out the bill "in longhand" and provided an illegible "work product" to lobbyists before handing it over to the senators voting on it.

Multiple senators criticized the GOP for making handwritten changes, including Sens. Bob Casey (D-Pa.), Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and Jon Tester(D-Mon.). House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) also joined the criticism.

So much for regular order! Oh yeah sure, we'll have plenty of time to read the final GOP tax bill - if you can make out the scribbled handwriting snuck into this massive, unsearchable PDF. #GOPTaxScam pic.twitter.com/a64mNovvHQ

Alabama Democratic Senate candidate outraises Roy MooreBY MAX GREENWOOD - 12/01/17 08:01 PM EST Democratic Senate candidate Doug Jones' campaign raked in more than $10 million in donations between Oct. 1 and Nov. 22, according to a USA Today report. That puts Jones way ahead of his Republican opponent Roy Moore in fundraising. In the same period, Moore's campaign brought in $1.76 million, USA Today reported. Part of that fundraising period included public reports of sexual harassment allegations against Moore. In a two-month period, Jones raised $9.9 million from individual contributions and another $150,000 from other sources, including political action committees. He spent $8.4 million and ended with $2.2 million cash on hand on Nov. 22.
Moore, on the other hand, raised $1.7 million from individual donors and $52,000 from other sources. He ended the period with $636,046 cash on hand, according to USA Today. It's not clear how sexual misconduct allegations against Moore have affected his fundraising. Multiple women have come forward in recent weeks to accuse Moore of pursuing sexual and romantic relations with them when they were teenagers and he was in his early 30s. It use to be both parties would actually work together at least on a bill this size. But sadly it seems “bipartisan” and “ compromise” are no longer in Congresses vocabulary.

Senator Jon Tester...
“I was just handed a 479-page tax bill a few hours before the vote. One page literally has hand scribbled policy changes on it that can’t be read. This is Washington, D.C. at its worst. Montanans deserve so much better.”
And he has a video showing the hand written changes on the first page.

With all these barely decipherable scribbled notes, how does anyone know what they say, let alone what they mean and if they contradict other parts of the bill?

“Let's see if I have this correct. @realdonaldtrump now says he fired Flynn on Feb. 13 because he lied to the FBI. But on Feb. 14 he asked @comey to drop the investigation -- even though he knew Flynn had committed a crime? And why did he wait to fire Flynn till WaPo exposed lie?”
trump...
“I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!”
When trump originally talked about firing Flynn I only heard him say it was because Flynn lied to Pence. Did I miss the part where trump said Flynn lied to both Pence and the FBI?

Trump tweet on firing Flynn was authored by Trump's lawyer: report BY BROOKE SEIPEL - 12/02/17 08:07 PM EST
President Trump's tweet Saturday saying he had fired Michael Flynn as national security adviser because he lied to Vice President Pence and the FBI was reportedly authored by Trump's personal lawyer, John Dowd.
Two sources familiar with the tweet told The Washington Post Saturday that Dowd, Trump's chief counsel, had crafted the tweet. The White House has not yet made a statement about the tweet, but its authorship could change the tweet's pertinence in special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russian election meddling.
Trump early Saturday tweeted, "I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies."
"It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!" he added.
The tweet caused shockwaves, as legal experts suggested that if Trump knew that Flynn had lied to the FBI and then asked Comey to drop the investigation, it could amount to obstruction of justice.
Trump in February said he axed Flynn because he lied to the vice president — but did not mention anything related to what the national security adviser told the FBI.
Flynn pleaded guilty on Friday to lying to federal investigators about his conversations during the presidential transition with Russia's U.S. ambassador about sanctions related to the Kremlin’s election interference.

Did I miss the part where trump said Flynn lied to both Pence and the FBI? Here is what I don't understand. Why would it matter whether Trump's lawyer or Trump himself composed this tweet? Either way, the facts in it are the same. If he fired Flynn because he lied to the FBI then asked Comey not to investigate it, that's obstruction.

linkSo I read a quote attributed to Orrin Hatch about CHIP and thought did he really say that ? So I tracked it down in an article by MSNBC. In the article there is a link to the video. From the article... “For those who can’t watch clips online, this was the case from the Utah Republican: “[L]et me tell you something: we’re going to do CHIP. There’s no question about it in my mind. It’s got to be done the right way. But we, the reason CHIP’s having trouble is because we don’t have money anymore.” Hatch went on to condemn the idea of “more and more spending.” After praising the “terrific job” CHIP has done for families who need help, he immediately added, “ I have a rough time wanting to spend billions and billions and trillions of dollars to help people who won’t help themselves – won’t lift a finger – and expect the federal government to do everything.”
Thevreason there is no money is becausevtheGOP just gavevit all to the rich and corporations with this vague promise of trickle down economics. Like I keep saying and the Republicans keep proving is their agenda is mean spirited that benefits a few at the expense of the many.

“Parliament just called for Trump to be banned from a state visit to the UK.”
There is a video with this tweet and in it at least one member of Parliament called the Presidentbof the United States a racist.
As Ben Rhodes puts it..
“This is the view of the US from our closest ally. I think we don't come close to grasping how much our standing abroad has fallen - and is being transformed - under Trump.”
Meanwhile President tiny hands is tweeting up a storm lying all the awhile.

“Report: “ANTI-TRUMP FBI AGENT LED CLINTON EMAIL PROBE” Now it all starts to make sense!”
Notice it’s all about him. That the only reason Hillary was found extremely careless with her emails instead of “ locking her up” is because this FBI agent personally didn’t want trump to win. Even though the GOP Convention hadn’t happen by the time the results of the investigation came out.
He is getting ready to fire Mueller.

If he does that and our elected Republican senate and congress don't step up, they decided they'd rather throw us under the bus than save their country. And I have zero doubt that it was he himself who tweeted that statement regarding firing Flynn and not his lawyer. That story is a load of BS.
