We are for sure going to Las Vegas a couple of times, Canada in May, and then are trying to put together a trip to the Caribbean.

We live on the east coast but will travel to California for a niece's wedding. We are debating going to Hawaii afterwards since we will be halfway there already!

I need inspiration too! I have a trip to Paris and the Loire Valley all planned out for summer but can't seem to bring myself to actually booking it.
Was planning on Disneyland for summer of 2019 for Star Wars Land so that hasn't been on the list but now it sounds like there is no set date for when SWL is going to open. I was operating under the assumption it would open in May 2019 and we could head down in August 2019. Now reconsidering going this year before the opening and skipping 2019 to let the crowds die down.
We have never taken the kids to Yellowstone, Glacier or any of the national parks in Utah so have been kicking those destinations around as well as NYC!

Well sure but my vacations are not usually places others travel to....
In May I’m going to Senegal and The Gambia
In September I’m going to Venice, Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro.
I started traveling with a company called Adventures for Singles about 5 years ago and I will never have money in my savings account again!!

We're taking our east coast kids to California so they can see where DH grew up and he can share his childhood stomping grounds with them. We'll spend half the trip in San Francisco and the other half in SoCal.

For now just California and possibly Grand Canyon. StephDRebel, my son wants us to go to Italy for his high school graduation. I can't wait to hear about your trip.

We'll most likely to go to Florida in the spring. If things go as planned, we'll be house hunting in the southwest.
My goal is Paris in the fall. My ultimate weight loss goal reward is a photo shoot (fashion style) in Paris with the Eiffel tower. If I stay on track, that should be next fall.
That will probably tap me for the year.

We are going to Disneyland in April for a week, with our adult children and their significant others.
We are spending a week at a lake in B.C. with my sister and her DH and some friends.
DH wants to go somewhere in February, but we can't decide where to go, so we may go to Maui in October instead. Or San Francisco. Or maybe New York. Who knows.
We'll have about 3 weeks left, and have no idea what we'll do those weeks or when we'll take them.

What a great idea! I've been to Paris once and loved it.
So far I only have Disneyland in January and Chicago in December. I need something in between and everything and nothing sounds good...I'm being very indecisive and the family isn't helping much.

I'm impressed with all your vacations (and a little envious)! We've never been able to afford to go on big vacations. We go to Eastern Oregon and the WA coast every year. I love both of the trips, but they are nothing fancy.

Whether we get to go depends on a number of factors but my hopes are for either Utah to see the national parks or Quebec City, Quebec. I was in Quebec City as a teenager and I remember it being a beautiful place and I always love visiting Canada.

I'll take the kids to Vancouver/Victoria in January. This is more of a duty trip not really a vacation, but the kids have most of the month off so they will get in a little winter sports.
Girlfriend trips in April to Palm Desert and October to New Mexico.
July or August to Canada with DH.
September to Greece with DH and MIL. We have about 100 friends planning to tag along or join us.

BF and I are going to Hawaii next week. I realize it's for 2017, but I can't make it work in the schedule for the winter season 2018. DD and her high school dance team is going to dance Nationals in early February, so I'm also going to Disneyworld. I'm super excited to see the team dance on that stage, and excited to have chances to go to the parks by myself. XDH and I had taken the kids several times to DW, so I know my way around, know what I like, and know what I want to spend time doing alone The rest of the year probably won't be much for travel. BF and I love camping, so we spend time in the summer on that. |
