My dd's theater group just wrapped up their winter play and I'm one of the parents in charge of the cast party. We always give out director's awards-the directors come up with the awards and then we parents come up with fun or silly gifts/candy to go with the award. To give you an idea, my dd has won the "sitting pretty" award and received a small ceramic sitting puppy. Another time she got the "brings the fun to rehearsal" award and got fun dip. The kids range in age from 10 to 17.
These are the awards we are working with now & some of the ideas we've already come up with:
solid as a rock-pop rocks candy A+ award- star medallion Goosebumps-scary candy (like spider gummies) Perspective Award-a kaleidoscope or distortion glasses In My Country-European candy (this character is a European immigrant) Courage Award-? Most Memorized Award-? Justice Warrior Award-? (This character stood up for his beliefs even when everyone else was against him) Strength in Silence-? Most Improved-? (This is a more serious award-maybe a bouquet?)
If you have any ideas, I'd be so appreciative!

Pick some of the main characters from famous plays (such as Shakespeare) and use those. You could do the comedy/tragedy masks somehow.

Courage award: a little stuffed lion or lion keychain. Most memorized award: travel memory game cards.
(ETA: sorry, I missed oliquig's lion recommendation above!)

Most improved - a $5 gift card to somewhere 10 - 17 year old girls like. I'm just not sure that flowers for that age group would be looked upon as a more serious award.
