Happy Tuesday! It is sunny and nice today. Feels like Spring is in the air. I hope the weather is better where you all are. I got a cute hot pink purse on Sunday from JC Pennys and life is good! I saw that purse online and when I saw it in the store I really liked it. My patience paid off when they had a better sale online with same day pick up. Boy was I happy to get it at a reduced price. I have been trying to build my wardrobe and this purse is the perfect addition for Spring and Summer.
Easter is this weekend and looking forward to movies, good food and fam time. Any plans for you ladies? I thought about cooking but so far it is just a thought! LOL!
LisaDV- Congrats on getting you new washer/dryer! I know you must be excited to get it. Yippee! The next big item I need is a new couch and our refrigerator is old. Maybe this year we can at least get a new couch. You did fantastic of your scrapping goal. I think you just might make your 80 finish line. Go Lisa!!!
nylene- So happy you get to come visit your dd and family here in California. The weather is great right now so you are coming at a good time.
scrapincin- Hugs to ya and hope that med helps you feel better.

Good to hear from you, kellyr21! Sounds like you are definitely feeling better. Sounds like you have a fun, relaxing weekend ahead of you. Our Easter plans are pretty simple. None of our "kids" will be here at the farm, so dh and I will be joining his siter's family for Good Friday (traditional Ukrainian meatless meal) and again on Sunday for turkey, ham and all the trimmings. My contribution will be to make the potato pancakes on Friday, and to roast the ham for Sunday dinner. Hoping to get some Easter photos of the dgk's from their parents. Wonder if I need to remind them??? How are you feeling today, scrapincin? I hope you have been able to have some rest with the kids away on spring break and that the meds are starting to take effect. My spring allergies are starting to act up. Don't know why as our yard is still knee deep in snow... When are you leaving for California, nylene? Wish I could join you! How are all the Pokey Calvinballers doing? LisaDV, will you be able to meet your goal of 80 pages this month? Even if you don't get to 80, completing as many as you have is still amazing! I have finished putting together pages for this months, but have been making a few cards. Here is my favorite Easter card. grammadee to answer your question I am still coughing, the nose is doing better and I am wheezing all the time. So they started me on prednisone this evening. That should do it. I could be worse thank goodness I am not. The reason your allergies may be acting up is tree pollen. I know you have snow but if you have buds on the trees there is pollen in the air. So check your trees for buds. I love your Easter Card-added it to my favorites.

grammadee , your Easter card is gorgeous. scrapincin , I hope the predisone helps. That stuff helped ds the other week. The reason your allergies may be acting up is tree pollen. I know you have snow but if you have buds on the trees there is pollen in the air. We have buds here, even though it is calling for snow this week. And I have been sneezing up a storm. I didn't even think I had seasonal allergies. hmmm. What are other symptoms of allergies besides sneezing?

scrapincin, I am sorry you are wheezing, but glad they are taking good care of you. I can tell it's allergy weather because my nose runs constantly. Luckily I don't have the cough and wheezing you have. Please get better soon. This has been a rough winter for you. I am frantically doing laundry and packing and getting food ready for Steve while I'm gone. I also had to prepare all the things I usually do for our addiction meetings because he will have to do them alone. Angie wanted me to make her a few cards too, so my scraproom will be left in a mess. Oh, well, I can shut the door. I will close this thread and start April's a bit early. Please have a wonderful Easter and Passover.
