Well considering I couldn’t stand her old show, why would I want to watch a highly politicized reboot.

I’m on the west coast so it will be a few hours. Hope this one is as good as the original.

I don't plan on it - haven't watched any other reboots either. There is so much good TV to be had between amazon, netflix and cable on my DVR I need to be picky!

Since she is a vocal Trump supporter and has said her character will be one too, I have no desire whatsoever to watch or support that crap. Not to mention what it would do to my blood pressure.

I never watched it when it was on originally. I am curious about how they will undo all the garbage at the end of the show though.

I really don't like that kind of humor. I disliked her previous show. I have no interest in even checking this one out.

I am watching it! Didn't plan to, but I started and have enjoyed the humor! It's just like the old show...

I'm watching. I was a little worried about the political stuff when I heard she was bringing it onto the show, but it was ok. Not in your face, and Jackie is playing the other side of the coin, and they both come off a little silly to tell the truth (which I think is deliberate). I am enjoying it-funny, and sharp, in my opinion. I'm glad Dan's back. That ending bothered me A LOT.

Reading that she is a Trump supporter just ended any desire I have to watch. And I used to think she was pretty funny.

It just started here and I am glad this thread reminded me.
I will record it.
Honestly, I totally see that family being Trump supporters. Jackie and Darlene, not so much. I don't know what I would think about becky.

I have never liked her - as an actress and as a person. She's crude.

I was looking forward to it & found it disappointing. I hate how political they made the first episode. The 2nd episode was better. If they keep the political crap up I'll not watch it any longer.

Well considering I couldn’t stand her old show, why would I want to watch a highly politicized reboot. Roseanne said today that they are really going to highlight the political divide in the country and show how families with such differing political views coexist. After my brother sent me a FB tirade about why he joined the NRA for five years, I am thinking it might be interesting to watch.

I liked the original and will watch the reboot.
I'm totally anti-Trump, but even so, I knew with Sara Gilbert at the least they weren't going to be only one sided. Glad to see Jackie is the other side as well.
Hasn't started here yet, so we'll see what I think.

I quit watching the old show a year or two before it went off the air. No reason, I just lost interest.
I watched it tonight and I liked it. Jackie is my favorite!

I had stopped watching before the lottery win and Dan's death, but I have it set to record and will start watching again. I hope it's good, I love a little nostalgia tv. I've always loved Will and Grace and I'm still loving them despite the political slant that I may disagree with. Its always good to step out of your bubble and experience diversity of thought.
It's all those little things like highlighting how families coexist with differing viewpoints that add up and help heal the divide.

Watched it. Enjoyed it.
I was a fan of the original series. The characters are all the same, and they feel real. Fun to see Darlene as a mom and Roseanne and Dan as grandparents.

I've enjoyed it so far. We've laughed outloud quite a few times.
The Becky storyline is stupid.
What happened with David and darlene, did they say?

Did they mention Fred or Jackie’s kid? I still have a bit to wait on the West Coast.

No.
Her show got super stupid at the end of its original run, and considering she continues to be super stupid in real life, I’m uninterested in giving her a hot second of my time.

What happened with David and darlene, did they say? Did they not say that Darlene's husband had died? That would be David, right? ETA: just did some googling. Since the actor who played Becky's husband from the original series has since passed away, they are portraying her as a widow. I guess David and Darlene are separated according to Google, but I didn't catch that in the first episode. Hope he turns up on one of the shows.
